Trip down to KL + Daiso + Missing JeanJean

But don't tell my butt, my achy breaky butt
I just don't think it'd understand
And if you tell my butt, my achy breaky butt
It might blow up and fart you away
Ooo

Achy Breaky Heart- Billy Ray Cyrus

Okay okay, the original lyrics didn't go that way but after hours in the car, all I can do is sing that song. Oh my poor aching butt~ *rubs*

On Thursday night, I hopped into a car and drove off into the sunset when the cowboys ride, the wind in my hair and no worries in muh mind. Okay enough nonsense, I went to Kuala Lumpur for a short trip just for the heck of it, I was bored and getting lazier by the minute so I decide it was time to do something and since my friend, Darren was going down, I followed him. Also the Mega Sales was on, woo-hooo! Sales! But being jobless, I refrained and refrained from buying much but I did ended up buying a few stuffs I shouldn't have. But money has been passed and the items are in my hands so no regrets allowed. That's what I kept telling myself anyway.

That's not all, It's so freaking incredible, for one and a half years I've been trying and trying to put on weight without success and give me 4 days after I resigned, I put all the weight right back as if I never even lost any. Stress is... incredible.

Also, just the day before the trip, I 'accidently' signed up for power yoga. And this is on my 2nd trip to the gym. Big mistake, I ended up with pain all over my poor body. Misread the power yoga and intro to yoga. How I messed that up is beyond me, I think I started jumping around happily at the word yoga and forgot to read the rest. Stupid me. The instructor commented that I had guts when I first entered. And I stood there stunned, yea, found out why later. For power yoga, stamina, strength and flexibility is needed, the instructor said that I had flexibility but lack strength. Tell me something I don't know, by the end of it all, my hands and feet felt like it was made from jelly and was wobbling about.

*Ahem* Anyway, the small small things I bought for my short trip;

My melody! Watashiwa aishiteruuuuu~
*screams like a psychotic fan girl who just saw the Jonas brothers* eww..

This is actually one of my regretted buys, I've always been a big fan of both Hello Kitty and My Melody since young but could never really afford anything from them but this time, I went a little koo-koo and forked out a good RM90 for a freaking pillow. My only happiness, it's an original sanrio. Yes, people, lots of fakes out there, good thing it's really easy to tell. It's so soft and cushiony and.. and..so pink, AHH~ *slaps self* You shall now be my sleeping companion. Hmm, I wonder if it's washable, it didn't come with any washing instructions.

Oh and the leapard print fleece blanket is a gift, LOL! Thanks Uncle P. but you can have it back if I start dreaming of you while covering my ass with it.

The main purpose of going down to KL was actually because Darren wanted to attend the ARCHIDEX'09 convention held in KLCC and also for shopping purposes and I wanted to be a busybody. The whole entire two days was spent in shopping malls with Darren. I've always thought I was good, but I was wrong. Darren could out shop me any day. I'm so sad. My blisters are the size of Africa and I still had to walk. The worst part was that I was damn broke and all I could do was follow him around like some golf caddie. BOOOOO!

So while walking around in the KLCC convention halls looking at roofs, chemical paints, paints, wooden panels etc, a light bulb flashed above my head. Architect? JeanJean?!?!!! DAISO!!! Whee~

Unknown to them I'm actually just a driver to the CEO!
Nyahahahahah! Kidding =_=

I suddenly remembered that maybe, just maybe JeanJean might just be around. Of course I didn't have her number so I called Elyn and Elisa. Neither one had her number but at least Elyn knew where Daiso was. I ended up walking around getting knock over because I was busy trying to spot any tall girl with long hair that might resemble JeanJean, no such luck! I'm quite disappointed that I wasn't able to meet her but I do believe there will be other chances. I promise myself to give her a big bear hug when I see her.

*I ran over to JeanJean's blog and saw that she DID attended the convention and there was even a post dedicated to ME! Imagine that! She got the exact details down to what I was wearing that day and I'm so upset that despite peeling my eye open throughout the entire convention, she ended up seeing me in Raoul and me having given up by then now, missed her. Please excuse me while I go scream.

A biggie thanks to both E and Elyn for helping me trying to find Jean's number! I really appreciate it! Thank you!

On our final day in Kuala Lumpur, we went over to The Curve since Elyn said Daiso was there. Walked around aimlessly looking for it when there was a BIG Daiso sign just above our head. Two blur 'sotongs' without coffee in the morning.

Ta-daaaa, I didn't buy much at all, so pleased with myself! The fake falsies are from an online shop and Etude House Peach Tea cleanser is from Etude House

So why four bottles of sponge cleaner? Two is for Elyn, I hope I got her the correct ones *gulp* I don't have that much sponge or brush to wash anyway. One is for myself and the other is for spare, incase E might suddenly decides she wants one too.

Besides that bought two bars of milk soaps. I like Milk + I like soaps. I hope it works or do whatever it's suppose to do which I actually have no idea what it's suppose to do... :D

I remember reading JeanJean raving about the Charcoal something. It's been a while so I didn't remember what it was but *censored* I just re-read Jean's blog and I mistaken the ravings of the Charcoal Cleansing Cream and the rants of the Charcoal Mask. I mixed them up! ARGHH! I didn't think I'll be going into Daiso so I didn't not do my proper homework, I'm so sad now. But it's only RM5, I will try it! I have no plans nor events other than my birthday in 4 days time so I will use my face as an experiment for this mask!

Left to right: Eyelash glue for only RM5! Uhhh...I messed up the cap

I saw this and wanted it pretty badly but when I finally came home and tested it, it's a little disappointing. It comes off more grayish than black and it's really not sticky at all. The only good thing is that it's easy to remove, oh wait, is that good? And it dried in about 3 seconds which might be a little problem for me since I have butter fingers and it takes me longer than 3 seconds to put on my lashes. So far it's not looking all too good but I'll comfirm it tomorrow when I try it with my new falsies and will do another report then.

I didn't wanted to go in to Ikea despite the fact that I absolutely love that place because it made me feel really awful that I don't own a house of my own yet. I'm too poor. I initially decided that perhaps I could be able to fork out some money for a low cost flat by either BSG or E&O. So we'll see about it. We headed over to Ikano instead since I've never been there and after browsing around and visiting the pet shop, we were heading back to the car park when something caught my eyes. It was instant love.

Magic box that contains my happiness

I've seen them selling this in Singapore and because of the currency conversion, I wasn't able to afford them but finally I saw them in KL and got so excited. It was selling for RM170 per box and although, I spent an hour debating on whether to get it or not, in the end, I did. I really do love it alot. It's so cute!

What could be inside?

My happiness of course!

Would you take a look at that! Japanese snacks made from wood. Not edible but extremely wonderful to look at. It's made in China though but the box is writen in Japanese. It's not exactly worth paying RM170 for a few pieces of wooden blocks but for me, whether it was worth it or not, I loved them so much that I wanted to own it. I wanted the box to store my make up and I wanted the food stuffs to stare at. I didn't spend much on anything on my entire trip down so to me, this was something I really wanted to get.

The inside of the wooden bloacks and what makes them stick together

Other than these, I got a purple top from MNG since the sale was really good and some bra from La Senza. Not my style to show people what clothes I buy or what inner garment I wear so no piccies. I only buy clothes on sale anyway, I'm such a darn cheapskate :D

P.s: Kinda lost my mood to write more after realizing that because I didn't have internet connection, I missed seeing JeanJean and all... *sigh*

Oh well, there will be other chances I guess and I'm glad that I'm seeing Elyn again this Thursday. Whee~

haha, that Magic box is pretty cool. When I was little I had some stuff like that except instead of wood they were plastic. But they cut in half like yours and everything. Those yours looks way better! haha

& that pillow is SUPER cute! I really like it a lot.

Sorry to hear about the eyelash glue being not so great. I find that whever I find an eyelash glue that's at such a good price, it's never really that good. I use a Shu Uemura glue and it works great, the best I've ever tried, but it's like $8.50 for a small tube

Ahhh I love your magic box of happiness! A friend of mine went to Japan last year and brought me a mini box filled with sushi and mini chopsticks! Sooo kawaiii ^_^! Too bad you missed JeanJean....but there will be more opportunities...no doubt about that!! Stay positive even though you don't have a job right now and you have to restrain yourself to buy stuff, remember that things will get better eventually! DO a happy dance *Dances around*...ahem..sorry I ate too much sugar today I think...

WWWWEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I can't believe that God was playing with me. I saw you and Darren right in front of my eyes. I was telling TheBf that the person I saw( you! ) looked like my blogger friend. But it was really you!!!
And you're so damn pretty !!! I think my face look too common to spot in amidst of the crazy crowd in KLCC. You went to Archidex? It's boring right?

I want to slap myself for not asking whether it was you. But yay, I got your number now. I can call you out if I'm in Penang. Yee ha!

At least I know how you look like in person!

Daiso haul ! Tell me if the sponge cleanser is good. I was debating whether to get it or not.

Muah, lots of love for you.

I've got a pillow just like yours! except its Spidey's head which automatically makes it cooler than yours. =p

If yours is microbead inside as well, I believe it is washable, though I don't ever remember washing mine and I've had it for years. hmmmm...

@Dana
LOL!!! Well, I highly doubt my parents would have bought me anything like this whether in wood or plastic when I was younger :P

Yea, I heard great reviews about Shu Uemura's eyelash glue but it cost a bomb, too expensive for me. T.T

@TJ
Hey there dear, would love to see your little sushi set too, lol, I love anything to do with food.

Yea, there will be other opportunities but I'm still a bit sore about it. :P

I was looking for you all around, mana tau, I missed you, I'm disappointed with myself T.T

me pretty? Nahhhh, not really >.<, too common? Trust me, it's not because of 'common' looking. I'm a serious case of blurness and please remember I'm half blind.

Yea it was boring, I would prefer it more if it had anything to do with beauty. AHAHAHAHAHHAHA! XD

Yes please call, Elyn smsed me your number just as well! If i ever head to Johor, I'll give you a call too!

The sponge cleaner was recommended by Elyn, The Queen of Make Up Brushes so I do believe it's good and after trying, GET it, it's goooood.

Lots of love dearie!

@Aunt Viv!
Yea I did, I'm really happy about it, hehheee. Muahahahahaha!
I love the feeling of no stress too and the quietness of my phone :P
Are you going to visit Jun anytime soon?

@Sheney
Hey thereee, good to see you posting up!!

I'm that easily recognized? *sob* There goes my dream of ninja-ing about. I didn't see you, which table were you at?
I'm a little embarrassed you have to see me looking all tired >.> 9 hours on the road reduce me to looking like that. LOL!

@Elyn dearest
Thank you so so much for your help anyway. I can't thank you enough! Yup, I got them I hope I got the right ones though.

Cute right??? *hugs box*

Rightoooo, will see you then! Yay!

Heh yeah, I've still been your loyal reader, but never posted up comments x) Yupp ! After seeing pictures of you, I've learnt how to recognize that look. You looked quite tired, but still looking pretty. I'm sure you had a great time here :)

Wahh pai sehh.. post up more pics of yourself then maybe I can do that too!!

I did, I had fun! Plus the food was great definitely somewhere I wanna go back too, YUM!

How? How can My Melody beat Spidey? Does she have spider-sense? Super strength? Webbing? No? Well unless her microbeads smell more than mine, I doubt she'll be taking Spidey down anytime soon. =p

Does your spidey make most females weak in the knees? is super pink? Is to die for? is friends with hello kitty? Ha-ha, NOT! I knew it.
