See the difference between face and body, UGH!
The pictures above were taken on last Saturday if I'm not mistaken. I was totally stressed out from having to defend myself against 'bombers' and idiots on an online forum so I headed off to the gym with Sulin and Kern. Halfway through gym, received messages from JeanJean consoling me which was very much a surprise. Thanks Jean for the messages, you really made me happy and you too Elyn *hugs hugs* A while later Elyn sent me a message saying that 'something has happen' and the seller has has agreed to refund and that I should go have a drink and celebrate.
Uhh, I think I took her a little too seriously cause by the end of the night, I was pissed drunk. Not good.
Also wearing white makes someone look tanner. I'm serious. After gym, I slap on some Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream ( a little too much maybe?), some eyeliner, blusher and went to Soi 11. It's not my usual 'full' make up since I didn't bring my face primer, eye primer, proper blusher or anything, hell, I didn't even have the correct shade of eyebrow pencil since it's just spare things to the gym!
So that's how I turned out. Weird looking. Nyahahahaha! The whitish cast that the BB cream gives off was something that I already knew after seeing how weird-ly coloured I was in previous pictures but that night was especially bad. My skin was abviously patchy and red after drinking.
This pictures are all extremely embarrassing to me and I wasn't planning on posting them here but just as well, I'm NOT perfect, I'm no super model that has perfect pictures every shot
This is really going to make me think twice about using this to clubbing the next time. Also I notice that Korean products has a higher tendency to have whitish cast products. I could be wrong but I wonder if anyone else notice or has this problem?
I've yet to use enough BB creams so I can't really tell. But when it comes to face powders, blushers, BB creams (except the Magic BB cream) and even some lip glosses by Etude House all has this weird whitish cast to it.
Whitish cast in lip glosses makes every line in your lips even more obvious but it obviously has it's own ups since people still loves them.
I do know that some sun block also gives off whitish cast, one sun block that I found with that effect would the one from Biore. I don't remember the name as it was Elisa who bought it. She ended up using it on her arms instead since she didn't wanted to waste it nor use it on her face.
I don't have problems like this when I use my normal MAC or Kate foundations but I was wondering if anyone else notice this problem...

i have to disagree, i think you look great in those pictures and that you dont look like you have a "white cast" in the second picture i think its cus your entire skin is generally much fairer where as the first 2 pics you look like you have a healthy tan :p
Yes your face does look fairer, but not in a fake or pasty sort of way, it still looks quite natural. I think the problem with bb creams is that they usually only come in very light shades, and some of them have this greyish undertone to them that looks very odd on some people's skin tone.
yeah whitish cast can be so annoying. but yours honestly isn't too bad! i actually like your face that tone haha.
I'm so glad that everything is okay now. The seller was trying to gain sympathy from sellers and buyers of LYN. I read that thread before. I think the whole situation got worse because of her misunderstanding ( she has terrible English).
Yes, you're right about Korean products. It's always too white because Koreans usually have pale skin. I think many people cannot wear their cosmetics if you, the Snow White Queen experiences white cast from their products.
You look gorgeous , girl. You don't even have to put on makeup because you have nice, glowing skin. You look really pretty with your hair tied!
Anyway, I hope that the seller doesn't flame you anymore and you'll get the refund you want.
Hope you'll be happier.
* hugs*
Yeey for having the seller make a refund to you!!
I think it's really cool you post pictured of yourself! I'm simply too shy for that at the moment! You don't wanna know how long I debated the fact to put just one picture of me on the blog hahahaha.
And no one is perfect indeed! And even supermodels have hundreds of shots taken and they choose the best one ^_^.
I'm familiar with sunblocks which have these whitish cast...really annoying! But since the sun isn't really shining that often here I don't use a sunscreen that much. wow even the lip glosses by Etude House has this whitish cast o_o...I once used a lip balm with SPF 25 and it had this whitish cast..I looked really scary!
Ah yeah I do notice Korean products tend to be very light (if not white). Even the darker shade can be too light for those who have light skin. Anyway, you still look good despite the whitish cast(which doesn't look so obvious). I think you can tone down the color a little by putting on some bronzer when you use the BB cream. I can never use a BB cream alone, it looks too ghastly white on me lol
Omg, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about!! I HATE that white cast >_< I think it's the SPF that causes it. Because my Bare Minerals gives me a white face when there's flash.
And since you brought up BB Cream making your face white, I have a story to tell you. I went to try it out since everyone raves about it, and OMG, it totally did NOT work out for me at all! I tried it on and in normal room lighting it looked fine. But Raymond told me to go see how I look out in the natural sun light and this was his reaction "Eww! NO, do NOT get that stuff! It looks like you're going to be put in a coffin right now. You look pasty white, I don't like it, take it off" HAHAHA
SO yeah, that was my experience haha
UGH! I know what you mean. Wearing white does makes one appear looking tan. I should know that. Haha but I didn't had a choice because white makes me look slightly well.. 'fatter' now that I am 'fatter' I can start wearing other coloured clothings! Whe
