Yes, lazy ass Peaches and Gold with a
Okay so I'm finally back from Thailand. The trip was incredibly fun with the bunches of nutcases I went with. I know there are people who wondered how can a lazy ass, unemployed for the pass 2 months me go on a holiday. No, I didn't rob the bank - not yet anyway, no, I didn't ask or take anything from my parents, friends, relatives whatever and no, I didn't take anything from my boyfriend - not as if I had one to take anything from. So it all boils down to one thing. Savings of course!
So since the entire lot of us were on a shoe string budget, thanks to Kern we manage to get a place to stay which is relatively clean and comfy for only 500baht per night. So 3 girls, Elisa, Kern and I stayed in the same room there was plenty of "Look what I bought", walking about in undies and gossips.
Went to visit some temples to pray and then we're off to a very spicy lunch, we went to Watsons just opposite the shop, the one I was busy eying even while eating lunch. Yes we have Watsons here in Malaysia too but it wasn't stocked with things that were as cool as the ones in Thailand. Whee.
A: Ahh, do you think this will attract any attention?
E: Yes, namely hungry insects in the area
A: ARGH!
The body butter came in Cookies & Cream and also Banana. The Cookies & Cream were a little too sweet for my liking and who on earth wanna smell like a walking talking Banana? I mean, yea, isn't being yellow coloured bad enough? No offense to any Asians out there but as I've mentioned in my previous entries, I have yellow-ish skin tone as oppose to Kern and Elisa who has slightly pink-ish tone.
Then some Cherry Blossoms Toothpaste, I knew my sister would love this. Cherry Blossoms! Lastly, all I got was a box of White Rose facial tissues. I bought it only because it was only going for 190baht. So cheap. Yes, I am a sucker for cheap things.
Onwards ho! After more stopping for Elisa to buy snacks, then deserts and then more food and then... we managed to reach the mall. What mall, I don't remember. I think my feet was sending out S.O.S so I was distracted and then we saw. Boots! No no, not the shoe boots but the brand Boots, heaven has descended on us poor travellers. 3 maniacs rushing in to the shop and went Oh la la over the items. Best part was the buy 1 Free 1 part. Mayhem ensured. I'm hapy to report, I bought little despite it all.
What I got was just a Botanics face toner, 2 moisturizers, mask for my poor face, the two hand creams are free gifts Kern gave me. A lavender hand cream. Yes I have a thing for soaps, creams and body butter. Gotta keep my skin soft right. Some random eyeshadow and also a bottle of foundation for my sister.
Later the night, we walked around literally in circles trying to find the Night Market only to find out that it has all closed. At 9pm! Closed! BOOOO! I wanted to buy the shoes that Elisa and Kern was raving about, guess I won't be getting it tonight. On a happier note, I bought a bag instead. Kern's bf, Yeow managed to hanggle the price for me so I'm thankful for that. In the end, I got it for 220 Baht.
We went clubbing the night before we left, we headed to Bar Berry and there may not have been any culture shock but it was interesting. I ended up sitting there oogling at butts and boobs. By the end of the night, I made up my mind. I'm gonna save up my money and get a boobie job. LOL!
The following morning, we all woke up late. Mad rush to head to the Morning Market and to get back before check out time. I still wanted the shoes!
Left to right: I loved both the colours so much *happy sigh*; Bought the wrong size for the white, careless mistake, so it's Pinky Doodle Doo's now
I've liked heels because I disliked my not here and not there height of 164cm. I'm not tall but I'm not short also so I hated being stuck in between but with heels, I automaticly (as long as I have them on) is somewhat on the taller side. Still not as tall as JeanJean but tall enough to intimadate some other shorter people. Kidding! XD
In total amount spent for the Thailand trip, less than RM300 each including hotel. Imagine that, I actually headed somewhere and NOT buy (much) cosmetics!! I'm so proud of myself. Heee!
After the morning market, we headed over to the mall one last time to get whatever we wanted to get that we missed out and also for eyelash extension. I saw the shop the day before and was interested in their:
Looks like someone has been using Babel Fish. But anyway they were trying to say eye lash extension. The regret of the day. Unknown to us then, the eyelashes were not only synthetic but feels really rough. How rough? Rough enough to poke any unfortunate soul's face that comes in contact with your eyelashes. You want pores? Come closer my dear *crackles*
Left to right: The difference between me putting on falsies and the eyelash extension.
It burned. It burned - BAD. Imagine me, the type to NOT cry when cutting onions or when somethings goes into my eyes, tearing up after the entire thing done.

@Hey there Sue!
It wasssss, it burned and stings. I have no idea why myself but whatever it is, it's not natural looking at all now it's poking me to death T.T
Ash! You have to stay alive! how long does so extension last on your lashes? I'm soo sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted :(
Oh I love the stuff you got! Who says its junk?! It's not...one man's bread is the other man's his death...or was it the other way around? I also heard your expression with poison and fish...I'm confused again...
But you were really good with the spending part! You got some cool things ^_^! I also need to live from a budget...it sucks! I just want to buy whatever I want whenever I want...but my brains are automatically switched of when I enter a store! I always have to ask my sister why I walked into the store.
I love the shoes! I love the bag! I love your nails! So sophisticated and elegant!
Have to say, I usually wear flats or sneakers. I feel waay too tall with heels on...so I wear them on special occasions or when I feel like it. Oh I'm 1.70 btw ^_^ and I like high heels, so my heels are usually 7 cm and up. You're seriously going to get a boobie job? Whahahah I'm switching between subjects rather quickly! But you really don't need it!
STOOOOP THE PIMPLES!! Stop them! Hope your face is a bit more calm now! High activities, less sleep, tiredness are all causes of an irregular skin...sooo annoying! Because these three simply rule my life at the moment *sigh*
Take care love!!
