Inspired Look: Bunny's scene girls!

A while back in July, Bunny did one look that I really liked and it got stuck in my head. I wanted to try the look but I couldn't because I just did my i-lasik and there was a NO make up rule for a week. The Scene Girls! (click here for Bunny's version)

Now that all is fine and dandy, the coast clear; parents went out for a function, Pinky Doodle Doo lost in her own world and JH is in Game Forge and has probably forgotten even my name. I decided to finally try the look. It definitely did not turn out as nice as Bunny's and I don't have Bunny's guts to wear this out just in case people mistake me as a hooker. In Malaysia, if you wear "too much" make up, you'll be automatically branded a hooker. Don't ask me, I didn't come up with the rules.

I'm using a different palette from Bunny. I'm using the no brand 88 colours palette in Yellow and what I think is Turquoise Blue.

If it wasn't for this palette, I would not have the colour yellow in my entire make up kit. Yellow = not my favourite colour. Anyway paint the yellow on up all the way to the crease. The yellow turned out really light in RL, applied like mad and it looked so ..little. Took a snap shot and I changed my mind. Use turquoise blue, place it above where your crease suppose to be, in my case, I placed it where my eye socket meets eyeball place. Does that even make sense?

Using my favourite Etude House Eyebrow brush, I put on my eyeliner. Yes, you read correctly, eyeBROW, not eyeliner. I hate their eyeliner brush, the pink colour one. It's fine if you don't use as much eyeliner as me but as a monolid, I need a lot!. The eyebrow brush is soft yet firm and doesn't scratch or rough. My perfect eyeliner brush. Hee hee.

Eyeliner and falsies always makes everything nice

A STBY (Sucks to be you) moment. My NYX Narcissus.. in two! *sigh* It finally decided to detached itself from the base.

So anyway tadaaa.. my Bunny inspired look. Not exactly my look but I'm happy to have atleast given it a try.

No, I didn't get a cramp on my neck, was trying my hardest, arms all tangled to try to take a picture to compare my arms and my face. My arms are very tanned due to my love for singlets. Wasn't much of a T-shirt person till recently. People take one look at my arms and decide that my make up is an inch thick due to the difference in colour.

There was once, a loud mouth friend who's mouth is faster than his brains commented that I was like those Taiwanese show personalities; our make up was equally as thick. He was actually comparing me to a transgender. Uhh.. Ouch!

That being said, it bothered me for a while but I realized that despite what he says, she says, my arms aren't going to magically turn fairer in days/ weeks and everyone will always have something 'smart' to say. Too fair, too tanned, too skinny, too fat. We'll never be perfect in the eyes of others.

As long as I am loved by the people that I love, everyone else can "go fly kite" cause I don't give two flying *toots* to what idiots thinks.
