A love package from Dblchin; Looking in to Etude House BB cream

Yana (she's a real beauty :D ) smsed me during work to ask me when what post did I sent her package out with. She bought some of my remaining NYX stuffs (Thank you for the support!) and I had happily posted it to her last Tuesday. It was a express post so it should arrive the next day. But nearly one week later and it had not reached her? My face tuned blue, then white and then my blood shot up to my head as I cursed and swore at our post office's lousy service. I feared that they had lost the package and then I will have to start killing people.

Tried checking the tracking number but as usual our lousy internet connection decided to be super slow that time and day. I can't tell you how much hair I lost over it. Was busy panicking and sms-ing Yana back and forth. For someone who lost a package, she was surprisingly very calm but luckily in the end, she actually headed over to her post office and found the parcel waiting for her there. No notice, no phone calls etc.

THANK YOU POS MALAYSIA! - NOT!

Now give me my hair back, dammit!

EDIT: Thank you Yana for the wonderful post on me, you're such a sweet girl that I would really love to meet up and have coffee with one day. You're so beautiful that I do really enjoy looking at your pictures XD, keep up the fantastic job you're doing with your blog k!

Came home all relieved and then spotted a parcel for me on the table from Singapore. It's not often that I get pressies other than from Tahira or Elyn.

Happy happy, joy joy! *does the rabbit dance*

It turned out from non other than my favourite Singaporean blogger, Dblchin. She had previously left a comment to let her know should I ever need another tube of eye glue after mine beheaded itself. After mulling for a couple of days, I shamelessly told her yes. I know, I know, I'm shameless!! Shameless, poor and desperate.

I've been keeping an eye on her blog for a while now and I liked the way she seems real, down to earth and not afraid to laugh at herself type. I admit that I tend to subscribe to blogs like that. I really love the bloggers that is not afraid to show the real them and is just generally being themselves.

That being said, my first thought when I saw the parcel was , 'Wow, that's a LOT of bubble wrap for just an eyelash glue.' As soon as I unwrapped it;

Two false eyelashes from Daiso, the DUO glue and the flamingo mascara along with a hand written note with my name on it. It's really times like this that I love my name. Never really liked my name all this while cause the only time people call me was when I was in trouble. Seriously.

My first and foremost instinct when someone shouts my name is to get a panic attack. So the easiest and fastest way to get on my bad side is just to stand pretty far and scream my name. To stand pretty far is to discourage me from taking off my shoes and throwing it at them. Yes yes, I'm the jumpy type.

After using the DON glue and then losing even more of my real eyelashes, I am reduced to using the eyelash glue that comes FREE with every purchase of The Face Shop's eyelashes. They are actually pretty good. I'm so glad I kept them from a gazillion years ago!

The creepy part was this though; I kinda went all big eyed when I saw the mascara cause I was just contemplating whether to get it or not the night before. I found an old thread in the forum on the mascara and it seems really good. In the end, my piggy bank won. Decided to just drool and not get them. And la dee da! The very next day, it's in my house! It's magic, I tell ya!

A biggie thank you to Dblchin for the early Christmas XD!

Operation for the day, patient: Etude House precious mineral BB cream.

Yes yes, my curiosity never cease, wanted to know how the inside of a super flatten BB cream tube looks like. I've always liked the Etude house precious mineral despite the bad reviews. It usually get a pretty bad rating because of the lack of shades and that it comes in fair and even fairer. Occasionally it can be too fair even for me but the oil control is good and coverage is pretty good.

Does this remind you of dried cuttlefish?

*snip snip* Hmm, not too bad. It wasn't like the Skin Food Aloe Vera tube where I had a LOT of BB cream stuck on the sides. This had about 3x usage on the bottom and that's about it.

Not too bad at all. Hygienic and not too wasteful.

LMAO at "Now give me my hair back, dammit!" XD You crack me up.

Totally random but I love your leopard print background! I always feel like I'm using the same boring one. =\ And big yay to love packs! You're like the queen of falsies, dear.

I can be pretty terrible with tights too! Which is one reason why I no longer have long nails...lol. I hear clear nail polish can fix tears?

Anyhow about those jade massagers...they were a gift from my aunt. She said they are pretty inexpensive in China. I think it's due to it being lower quality jade. (I don't think high quality jade is really needed for these) So anyways, you could probably find it cheap on eBay or some other online site. ;)
