I took one look at it and really wanted to try it but in the video, she used a bruised plum purple and I wasn't too sure if I could pull it off. In the end, I decided 'Ah what the hell, you only live once!' not to mention, I'm safe in my own room.
As usual, I'm too lazy to remove my entire make up and start all over again so I just pile on. My office look has been very very simple lately anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference. Apply a little eye base and then here comes the bruised plum purple. Since by now, it's a few days after seeing the video, I really didn't remember the actual steps. I know she used brown somewhere..*sweatdrops* but lets just skip that since I didn't remember where.
I place the purple according to where my "crease" is suppose to be. Press into eye sockets to make sure. Atleast I think that's what I'm suppose to do.
Apply black like no tomorrow! Do it! NOW! Kidding, but apply lots of black all along your lids covering most of the horrible purple along the way (Yay for me!) Apply the black under your eyes as well, apply it like you you are sleep deprived and have not heard of coffee before.
Me: Huh? Kofi? No, it's okay, you can keep him..
*Kofi Annan is is a Ghanaian diplomat who served as the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations
Next, apply some beige-y eye shadow near your brow bones and blend everything to together so there's no harsh line. All eye shadow used is from the 88 colour palette. Then apply your foundation. In the video, Michelle recommends going for a foundation a few shades lighter for the pale look.
Pale? For all pale looks, I tend to use my Elianto Fresh Whitening Foundation stick. Yes yes, it's not very "fresh", it has actually expired. But then again, expiry date is only a suggestion, right? XD
Before you start screaming at me to throw the damned thing away, note that I only use it for FOTDs and I wash my face after like half an hour or so. No pimples so far *hugs on tightly to her wooden desk* Touch wood! Line water line with black eyeliner.
I wanted to use my The Face Shop's falsies (Picture two above) but me being me; dropped one side of the lashes and lost it! RAWR! *toot toot toot toot tooooot!*
For lips, I used NYX round lippie in Circe + NYX Mega shine lip gloss in Sugar Pie. Doesn't the name makes you wanna sing?
Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch
You know that I love you
