Bubbles, bubbles toil and trouble

When we want something badly, the only thing going through that head of ours is, "I want!I want! I want!" At that point of madness, we tend to forget that we probably already have something similar at home; don't need it; not worth the money, etc. etc.

Well, that's exactly what happen when I headed over to UPR for the Little Penang Bazaar. I'm pretty sure I got the name wrong but anyways, the bazaar is held every last Sunday of the month and there's quite a number of things to see. After a colleague of mine told me about buying organic, handmade soaps from the market, I knew I wanted one too. I kept thinking that there wasn't anymore soaps at home and how badly I needed them. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and told JH about it. Together after work (I work half days on Sundays) we went.

We first stopped by Midlands One-Stop (an old Mall) to watch the pre-release Magic: The Gathering Worldwake tournament(?). I'm excited, two new angels for the white deck and for my collection, "Come to mama, my pretties~" I've decided that hell, if I can't beat them, join them and thus I too am now a Magic player. A really lousy one anyway. GameForge is having the launching on Friday night. Whee!!!

*Slaps self* Nay nay nay, this post is suppose to be on soaps, not Magic cards. *Ahem* back to the topic, we brave the elements; 35 - 36 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) of heat and humidity. Panted, melted but we got there! And bought my soap and had a walk around since it was both our first time there.

My first thought when I see these are: I should have bought more.. *sniff* Too late now
Lookit, pwetty colours!

Of course when I reached home, I dug out my old soaps which I bought during my trip to Australia a gazillion years ago just to ... take a look. Ah the pretty colours. I was suppose to just buy one but of course the one soap might feel lonely so I bought the soap some company :D

Ahahahaa! These are bathroom salts from Stuf, I stuffed them into empty Ettusais boxes so they are easier to pack and store, I have another 3 in a different box. Don't they look yummy?

Dug it up and noted that there was some boxes of Mark & Spenser soaps in there as well which trigger my memory that I recently found out that I still have a bar or two of Rose soap from M&S and that triggered my memory that I had some La Source soap + shower gel from Crabtree and Evelyn which trigger my memory that I had two more boxes of Lavender soaps also from C&E. And then there's the new bar of soap that I just got...

Uh oh..

Uhhh... must not let JH know.

Quickly moving on, I snapped my nail in half. I.R.Smart (D'oh) seeing the nail cracked halfway across and blood gushing out, my room swirl around and darkness embraced my fragile self *slaps self* Kidding, I held on to the wound so the blood would stop. I can still feel it going "Beep bop, beep bop, beep bop" under all the plaster. *sniff*

SMUDGED! It smudges at the very last possible second *shakes fist*
The crack is at the other hand, all wrapped up in a plaster

It pays to read newspapers. While flipping through it, I came across some advertisement on some skincare from Japan which stated that it's sold every 4 seconds in Japan. Hmmm... Something that can rival the sales of Barbie? I must see!

All good things comes in two? :D

It's apparently out in the market in M'sia for sometime now probably since November 2009 and here I am just discovering it! Talk about outdated. Then again, November was one of my busiest months last year with the start of a new job and all. With the amount of crap I had to go through, my face was the least of my worries then but now...Aha!

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising is a new range of skincare developed by The Mentholatum Co. USA and Rohto Pharmaceutical Co. JAPAN.

You can read more from here VenusBuzz

Good luck reading it tho, I nearly blinded myself trying to read it. Sorry!

So far, been trying it for just 2 days and I'm really liking it. No breakouts yet and the face wash doesn't make my skin feel tight and uncomfortable or have the 'fake' smoothness Etude House Happy Tea Time face wash seems to give. The face gets coated with some 'oil/wax' that gives us the impression that our face is 'smoother' after washing. It might just be me though.

The moisturizer is a hassle to use having to pat our face for atleast a good 10 - 15 minutes. It starts off as plain watery then becomes sticky and later on when the skin has absorbed it becomes like any other moisturiser on the face. Despite that all, I'll happily use it every night, I wake up with my face looking moisturised even the peeling and roughness I previously had has disappeared. I also give credit to Clinque Moisture Surge for the help of course.
