A weekend trip to Singapore

It's been a while since I updated; been kind of busy this past month. Starting a new job and spending more time with my love. I don't think I'll be posting any EOTD although I have a few in mind mostly cause I got a super bad breakout. Posting of any EOTD/FOTD will no doubt get me complains for traumatizing my readers.

I kept wondering why was it that my face wasn't getting any better despite everything I've done, only to realize that the Dr.Jart+ was giving me the problem. ARGH. My life is fantastic. I spend Rm100 on a too dark BB cream and another RM80 on a BB cream that makes me break out. STBM (Sucks to be me) I'm back to using my SkinFood Aloe BB cream and Etude House Magic BB cream (dang, it's oily)

L'amour de la mia vita <3>

But anyway, Me and JH headed over to Singapore on the weekend for his friend's wedding. I ended up with a bad break out and was sick. Yes yes, STBM again but being in Singapore was fun. Lots of memories and getting to try out new things is always interesting. The wedding made me feel a little 'weird'. It was beautiful and all but it sort of really made me realize how many of our friends has already gotten married. Even Grace, me and Elisa's school mate is having her wedding dinner in January 2010 and a colleague of mine is having her engagement party this month! Ahhh~

I keep comforting myself that no matter what, in the end, I'll always have El ... myself *cough*

But anyway, while in Singapore, JH took me to one of his favourite breakfast place, the Hediard. The chocolate croissant is to die for, and so is the hot chocolate. I'm secretly quite pleased that JH has a sweet tooth and a love for chocolate like I do. Of course, he tends to be picky and for me, I'm just much greedier. There I admit it.

Left to right: Aint the outside pwetty?; The breakfast set

I'm proud to say I refrain myself from overspending in Singapore. In fact I hardly bought anything at all. I have not recieved my paycheck yet and since the Singapore currency is much stronger than ours, I couldn't help doing mental calculation for everything.

(amount x 2.5 = *gasp*)

Left to right: Went all the way there to buy Mark & Spencer >.>;; Ardell Lash Grip Adhesive

Yes yes, I have a thing for Rose scents. Some might complain it's a little 'aunty-ish' but I love them. Wish I bought more as gifts but I really was on a super tight budget T.T. Saw lots of Ardell's eyelashes in Guardian much to my suprise and they were going for about S$8.99 which after conversion is pretty much the price of a DUO lash Adhesive (I think, mine was a birthday gift from Elyn which I'm still hapily using)

On the last say, I got these, the Mavala Eyeliner was on the bargain bin :D and since I don't have a proper liquid eyeliner I grabbed one. The put it back on discovering it was Blue in colour. Thankfully they have one in Brown. So far, the lasting power is really good but I hate the brush. It's too thin and a total pain in the *toot* to draw a straight line.

Lookiee, I bought a Maybelline products! I'm suprised myself. I heard good reviews about the mascara for some time now but since it wasn't available in Malaysia I had given up on ever buying it. So while waiting for our flight, I was browsing through the cosmetic section looking at mascaras when JH pointed out that I was at the Maybelline booth. I didn't even realize. My eyes were firmly locked on the Collosal Volume Mascara. Whee! Now lets see if this is any good. I've removed all my eye extensions anyway. Not bad, this round, it lasted for a good one month!

In the end I had a great time in Singapore despite being sick. Walking down the street holding hands, having breakfast tongether and cuddling on the sofa, to some it might be the usual but to me, this simple acts leave me all happy and it's been a while since I'm this contented. *Purrs*

Woot !! I can see JH grinning from ear to ear *happy man alive on this planet earth* and you look adorably beautiful leaning on his chest ^^ awwwwww picture perfecto mi amor

I know I know I’d been MIA, but I am really working my smoking ass off…new place is nearly its completion but still have a lot of small “details” to take care and work on, you cannot believe how much work needs to be done still..hence the smoking ass explains a lot….ahahahahaha….. having a O.C.D. I can already foreseen I am going to work myself to dead after I move in …Fuuuuuyoooo this is going to be, to be….ahem…*momentarily cannot think of a best word to describe the “going to be” cleaning process”…*snort*

I’d been going to IKEA on weekly basis like no body’s business, and at this point of time I shall perhaps considering switching my career as transporter , what do you think? (hope they pay well tho) bwahahahahaha…..

Aside of that I am doing well and guess what? Our friendship will prevail regardless I am toothless or have shaky legs I will still have coffee with you, now now don’t think you can escape. Nahhhhh you won’t be growing old all by yourself, that I promise *yee haa*

Anyway, I am glad that you are ok tho..until we meet again, do take care of yourself alright..love and miss yer lot !.

@Aunt Viv
Hey Aunt Viv!! Yes I went to ion on the first day and nearly died when I went into sephora. I was momentary stunned with all the brands available there. But everything was over budget for me so I didn't anything at all.. T.T

Aaaaawwwwwwwww too cute! too cute! You guys are just soo sweet together ^_^!

Oh I've used Maybelline before indeed. But I've found it a bit clumsy too use. The tube is kinda big whahaha. I love L'oreal Telescopic, the gold tube. Works wonders for me! So for now I stick with that ^_^.

Hahah I'm the total opposite with eyeliners! I have lots of color and no black heheeh. oh wait! I did had a black one...but it got lost somewhere. I need to buy a black one again. I have one that is olive green with golden specks. I love that one! But I don't wear it often. I usually smack on some mascara hahaha. I'm so lazy -_-'.

Could you pass me a croissant please ^_^! I'm hungry now! I love hot chocolate, but I never knew you have different kinds of this. I was in Salamanca, Spain last year with my sister and a friend and my sister ordered a hot chocolate....she got a think creamy, like molten chocolate in a tiny cup...that was not my idea of hot chocolate. The flavor was soo intense and thick...you really had to spoon it away instead of drinking it. Yes...not that good. The friend we visited there...he loved it haha! And you also had it in white chocolate and pure. It really is something to try out, but I can't assure if you will love it. Was it the same in Singapore?

Oh I do hate mental calculation when I'm on holiday *sigh*...but for now it's something I need to do as well. Responsibilities, responsibilities...bleeegh

I love it to read an 'Ashley post' again ^_^!! yayyy!

Take care Bella!!
*BIG HUGS & KISSES* Ciao!
