Black and Green EOTD, Dr.Jart+ BB cream

It's been a while.. a looong while since I last did anything on the blog. Work has started to be much busier. More running around, more calls and research, but still all is still well I'm happy to say.

Since a couple of months back, I've been playing with the idea of using green and black for the eyes. Tried it once and it turned out awful. Decided to try it again just for the heck of it today and thankfully it came out alright, I think.

I saw this sales lady in Chanel using this incredibly beautiful, striking green eyeliner under her eyes and black eyeshadow on the top. The green was so fabulous and so was the price tag for the eyeliner. A shocking RM70 for a pencil!! RM70 would have fed me for a good one week! Being a cheapskate thrifty person that I am, I decided to look for an alternative to the pencil. Weeks later I 'somewhat' found on in Etude House.

MAC Crayon eye pencil in Ebony that Elyn gave me a while ago and the Etude house Eye Glow Pencil in Evergreen

Eye Glow Pencil in Evergreen. No, it doesn't turn your eyes into flash lights and literally glow in the dark, sadly. *snort* The green was different from the Chanel one since it's way more shimmery and the colour less intense and duller. But it was the closest I could find. Note that the search was among the cheaper brands, I did not try Christian Dior, Estee Lauder, Anna Sui, Bobbi Brown whatever. It was among drug store brands.

Using that is like I said, too shimmery, I wanted an intense bright green, so ta daaa, pull out my no brand 88 colour palette, ee nee mee nee my nee mo and chose a nice bright green.

Left to right: This, this!!; Start off looking like that

If Ekimura and Elisa is the Queens of Fresh, simple and elegant looks, I must the the Queen of the Lazies. Seriously. The eye make up has been once since 7.15am when I woke up and slap on some for work. Yes, I work on Sundays albiet half day. Weird right? So anyway, I am far too lazy to ever wash off my remaining eye shadow just to put them on again. In my little lazy head, that doesn't make sense. So what I do is use a Q-tip, wipe off the inner corner and began my experiment.

Do it the lazy way

Use Evergreen on inner corner of eyes. It'll serve as a base for the green later on anyway. Draw draw draw and then move in with the black eyeliner.

Using the black eyeliner draw 3/4 from the middle to the outer corner according to eye shape. In comes the green eyeshadow from the no brand palatte. Try to blend the eyeshadows and the liner together.

Use black eyeshadow and blend everything together. Make sure you shape and frame the eyes nicely. Wait does that even make any sense? Put on some falsies and we're almost done.

Blend more with the black and smoke it out a little bit more and what do you have? A green and black EOTD done the lazy way and in only 5 minutes. Yay! Can't complain on the time if you're in a rush and want something to brighten up your face.

EEch, I talk as if I am an expert when I barely know what the hell I'm doing. Nyahahahhaa.

Yes, old pictures, I had my extension on so that means, it's way before my Singapore trip when my skin was still a-okay. As you know from my previous post, I finally caved in and bought the Rejuvenationg BB cream from Dr.Jart+. Reviews has been great, no problems, great coverage, improvement of the skin. To each their own but for me. It make me break out - BAD!

It was the tiny, super annoying ones that came out in full force like in Warhammer 40k's orcs. I doubt you'll understand but lets just say alot alot then. Think rave party with free flow of beer type or... Hello Kitty cosmetic launch. That should be easier to understand.

Unfortunately for me, I discover the reason for my continue break out late. But anyway my skin has gotten better after endless mask, crying, stressing up, ranting, whinny, T3 oil, dermedex and so forth. Note that, only 3 of the above actually helped my skin. I might just give the Dr.Jart another go to doube confirm. *Gulp*

The reason why I hate blood test. I have a good reason to. By the way, my arm still hurts. It feels bruised and painful, I'm not talking about the bruised part but the length of my arm. I think someone hit my muscles. T.T
