short and little eyelashes *sigh*
Well, I'm not sure how many people are going to be throwing tomatoes at me for this lousy review but I'm giving the Canmake clear mascara a mere 5/10.
The pros is that it's pretty affordable priced at RM26.90 with 10% off at the current moment for a BIG tube of clear mascara. Doesn't make my mascara smudge. It does somewhat have the volumizing effect.
Cons, it weight my eyelashes down, I needed to curl it atleast 3 times before it could even look decent but in the end, my eyelashes looked better without the clear mascara. I'm really not sure if my Kate mascara is just too damn fabulous or that my lashes is so fine that anything 'extra' on it just weights it down.
Holy Cow! I don't know how I missed it but apparently I did. Ignore my above comments/review since I actually use it as a base coat instead of a top coat. It's just that while searching for a mascara base, I came across this Singapore forum where they were talking about Canmake clear mascara and they mentioned that they curl - base - mascara. And I did just that, except that mine was somewhat like curl - base - curl - mascara - curl. I now sit and wonder if all those people that complained about the clear mascara did what I did and used it as a basecoat."Use this as a topcoat over non-waterproof mascaras for lashes that can hold their own against tears and sweat. If mascara on your lower lashes has a tendency to run, use this for eyes that look great all day long. Moisturizes and makes your lashes look more lustrous, while helping maintain their curl longer. Use instead of conventional mascara for a gentle, natural look.
Use after applying any of the Canmake mascara series for longer-lasting beauty. Apply generously to the upper and lower lashes using the large brush. Work the brush in among the roots and move it slightly from left to right while gently brushing the lashes upwards, in order to give them greater curl."

But then again, after applying my usual mascara, would the clear mascara make it heavy and droop down all the same? Hmm, one way of finding out. Will be trying it out again tomorrow.
Take for example, the last time, Elisa tried to buy these and I couldn't tell her what colour was mine, I ended up telling her to buy the one with the "guy kicking a football" NOT the "roof" since I don't understand Japanese or even Chinese and neither did she.
And the time when I asked my sister to check what colour my foundation was over the phone and she too couldn't tell me, same technique, "guy kicking football" or "roof" and earned myself the weirdest stare from the sales lady. We're a bunch of bananas.
Got tagged again by JeanJean and decided to play along since it's fun and I actually love to write. People often ask me why my handwriting so small, the only answer I have for them is that I save both paper and ink. Save the planet. Blah, whatever.

Oh thank you very much!
Nice blog btw, I'm actually wearing lenses from some brand called Caring. I'm not sure if it's all that famous but the only reason I buy them is because they actually have them in my power. I'm half blind so.. >.>;;
