Liquid Liners; Revlon, MAC & Amuse; Nail deco

Since I'm broke and on a strict 'NO buying COSMETIC' budget, all I can do for now is reviews. Rummage through my make up box and picked out a few of my favourite and not so favourite liquid eyeliners.

For years, I refuse to use liquid eyeliners no matter what E said, and stuck firmly to my pencil only liners. But after a while, I got tired and sick of looking 'raccoon-ish' with all the undereye smudges. E recommended gel liners and my love affair for Bobbi Brown started. Till today, it's almost zero (not zero but almost :P) smudges on me and last thru all my tears and sweat. But that's for another time.

Left to right: Amuse Fine Liner, MAC Liquidlast Liner and Revlon Colorstay

I bought a cheap liquid eye liner to try, just in case I can't control my grandma shaky hands and poke myself in the eye or end up with some funky line on my eyelids.

I bought - Amuse. I didn't not end up very amuse with it, I admit. I love how thick the brush is but everything I HATE. The liner disappears in a hour or so and is not black enough. In fact it's gray. I don't really think I should complain tho since I bought this really really cheap.

But still, if there's anyone out there who is even thinking of getting this because it's cheap. I say, don't even bother.

Next, MAC Liquidlast Liner. I was not planning to get this but since I attended the MAC workshop and had RM200 to redeem, I had to buy something. I ended up with this as one of my items, I must say that I've used it less than 5 times and it's been almost a year. Not that it's bad but I have a problem with the super thin brush. I'm single eyelid. I need liner and lots of it. I found that the brush was too soft and too thin for my liking but everything else, me likey! From the pictures, you can see that the MAC Liquidlast liner was almost wiped off, but that's also because, it was put on last and had not fully dried yet.

Unfortunately, it's not cheap. Will not be repurchasing due to that reason.

Something wrong with the amuse, it has turned..watery(?) BOOO, I still had a lot left!
And no, I didn't start shaking the bottle only on the 3rd try, was shaking it all the while, the 3rd try's shaking was just a little more vigorous.

My favourite for now, Revlon Colorstay. It's matte black and very very back. Best - thick brush. Not everyone will like this of course but for me, it's perfect. It's affordable too. It's not waterproof so if water gets on your face, expect it to run a little. Lasting power is medium to pretty good. It doesn't last as long as BB gel liner nor does it do the David Copperfield disappearing act till about 7 hours or so later.

I'm really tempted to try the Dolly Wink liquid liner. But knowing that the lashes already cost a bomb at RM60 per pair. I'm not too keen on finding out how much this one cost. Damn, even their eyeliner pencil looks so good. Nay nay, must resist!

Talking about Dolly Wink, lookie what me other love got me. Thank you Elyn! After reading my blog on my falsies, she went and got me some. So sweet! Came home and saw a small parcel and went 'Huh?' I had expected a small parcel. Opened it and inside was 6 boxes of falsies and 2 nail decorations. Oo la la~

Heeeee~ doesn't the nail deco box reminds you of Dolly Wink's design? XD

So happy, one of the smaller box which reminds me of Dolly Wink contained some nail deco in shapes of roses! So pretty. It's made from rubber me thinks.

9 of it in light pink, blight green, light blue, white and medium pink

I have not thought of a design to go along with the roses yet but you can bet I'm jumping around trying to work my brains to think of something. Thankies Elyn!

ooh the revlon looks amazing! :) i think my fave (and i've only used terribly cheap ones) is wet n wild h2o proof - it lasts forever!! however, i don't really like waterproof stuff and the bottle smells toxic :(

i've been into creme liners lately but they do smudge after a long day :/
