Suitcase of memories... NOT!

One of my make up drawers has been stuck for some time now and it was only today that I decided to try to fix it and see what the problem is. It's problem was that it was too full so I had to sort some stuff out.

After some rummaging through, an almost brand new Maybelline foundation caught my eyes. Oh la la~ Maybelline Clear Smooth Gel Foundation? And it was a good 85-90% full! But wait a minute, why would I have bought a Maybelline foundation? I hate Maybelline!

Then I remembered. I bought it with Elisa during its FIRST launching in Penang. If you're thinking, "Hey, I thought it launches eons ago." Damn right you are. I couldn't remember the date till the numbers on the top caught my eyes.

2003

That's a good seven years ago and its in my drawer all these while sitting pretty. ARGHHHH. I'm so disgusted! Now I remember what happened. I bought it, used it, hated it. The end.

The coverage was sheer and it didn't cover the pimply me. *sigh* This sparked a frenzy in me to search and destroy..err I mean throw old stuff away. A few minutes later, I came across another.

A Loreal foundation stick. My old favourite. Damn it was good. I remember keeping this one for memory sakes. The coverage was good, easy to apply but was a little pricy at RM35+. If you're going "Huh? How is that pricy? Foundations nowadays cost RM50 and above" that's cause I was 15 and poor. D'oh.

That makes it even older than the Maybelline *slaps forehead* That's a good 11 years old. Uhh, why is Hermits Herman's My Sentimental Friend playing in my head?

So won't you please play a song
A sentimental song
For my sentimental friend over there.

We've been so long apart
Make it go right to the heart
Of my sentimental friend over there.
Bring the tears to her eyes
Help to make her realize
The love we had was just beyond compare.
And then if the time is right
Maybe I'll hold her tight

Hmm, other interesting thing I found in my drawer was this; Birthday Waterproof Surgical Lash Adhesive. I bought this during my trip to Hadyai, Thailand. I saw this being sold in some forums for RM8 I think, not too sure. I bought mine at RM2.50.

Oh la la, who can resist an eyelash glue for only RM2.50? Literally USD .76 cents . Note the word "Surgical Evelash Adhesive". Surgical? Honey, don't kid yourself, this thing can't even stick a stamp on an envelope.

Lousy &^%$#@! You get what you pay for. Then again, if I get what I pay for, this thing ought to pay me cause it does no shit and waste MY time and effort. BOOOOOO!!

That bring me to the next item on the list.

Note the blue eyelash glue called
DON

Its really similar looking to the DUO eyelash adhesive. I bought DON from Sasa at RM12.90 a while back. It's actually my first eye lash glue before Elyn gave me the DUO for my birthday. DON waterproof eyelash adhesive is the total opposite of the Birthday eyelash adhesive.

If you don't pull, tug and in the process pull put a few eyelashes, it'll probably stay there till 2011.

That thing sticks like no tomorrow and you can be damn sure, it'll stay till tomorrow. To some, you might think that's good but to me, it's a major pain in the behind. You can't remove the glue from the eyelashes afterwards. It spoils the lashes after a while and hell, after a few times, you don't need the glue, your falsies will still stick from just the leftovers.

This is good is you're probably going swimming but don't take my word for it. And if you do decide to buy it, I am not to be held responsible for anything. Namely, the number of bald patches where your lashes use to be.

"I remember keeping this one for memory sakes." Haha...you are too cute Ash! ;) Sounds like you did some serious Spring cleaning...keke. I don't wear falsies b/c I suck at it but I love the pic of all the adhesives. And wow, what do they put in DON? Super glue?! XP
