Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip

*Sponsored

Biore and I go back a long way, all the way back to when I was a pimply teenager. Fast forward and I am now a pimply woman. *LMAO* Some things never change.

I remember buying their oil control facial cleanser back when I was 12 and was really upset when they discontinued it.

If there's one thing I really love love love about Biore is their make up removers. ( Unfortunately there is a lack of love in the hair dye and sun block department) I started with the Makeup wipes then the Biore Perfect Oil and now, the Makeup remover for eye and lip.

The Makeup remover for eye and lip was actually sent to me by the Biore team. A BIG thank you to Caryn especially since my original package went missing in the mail.

Despite that, I'm going to be unbiased with my review. It's my name on the line, not Biore's so here goes.

I have tried a number of oil/water/whatever based facial cleansers for a long time, considering that I started using make up at 15 years old. Before Biore launched the make up removers, I was using ZA oil cleanser which I found that could remove heavy make up without much problem. Later on, due to being stingy, I bought a 'Korean brand' water based make up remover which as some might have guesses made me kneel on the floor screaming, ' MY EYES! OH GOD MY EYES!'

The main concern for a facial cleanser is no different from anyone, it had better remove medium to heavy make up, does not leave sticky residue and for me - the price is an important factor. (Yes, my middle name is el cheapo, nice to meet cha)

So let's see how well it works

Removed everyday make up without much scrubbing - check
No oily residue - check
Removes pain in the behind mascara without cursing - check
Doesn't require half bottle used to remove make up - check!

Amount used for whole face. Occasionally I do add extra for the super hard to remove mascara and do an additional wipe just to make sure I got everything off.

Pooh! Everyday make up is nothing. Lets try it on a day when I use super heavy make up. Add a horrible amount of eyeliner (which is something I use every single day) and happily drew on some whiskers.

It takes off this much from just ONE swipe. Not bad! Especially since I was using Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner underneath the brown liquid eyeliner.

*peeps over shoulders*
Sir Knows-Nothing: It looks like poo!!
Ash: .... *facepalm*

A short Holiday to KL; Hello Kitty stuffs etc, Kutsuwa key chain making kit, Etude House nail polish, Konad M59, Hada Labo

52 hour week ended up being just a dream; starting this month it will go up to about 55 hours on some weeks. *sigh*

Anyway, Sir Terrible Memory had to go down to Kuala Lumpur for his CFA exam so I happily tagged along for the ride. It was a relaxing 3 days with no phone calls, endless shopping and eating. A much needed break for me. Unfortunately for Sir Terrible Memory it was a stressful week/month leading up to his exam.

*Fingers crossed*

My face is still on a rampage and they don't seem to be going away. At my wits end, I decided to switch to Hada Labo from my usual skin care. My skin seems to be having hydration problem since I noticed that it has been excreting lots of sebum. Thankfully, after just 2 days, it has shown signs of improving. It might also have something to do with me switching over to a better make up remover too. I've started using the Biore Make up remover for eyes and lips (Review coming up next!)

With no Sir Terrible Memory by my side to control my spending, I ended up spending my money on knick knacks. *sniff sniff* I bought earrings for my sister, Soap& Glory body butter for mom and lots of cookies for family from Mark&Spencer (All distributed the moment I set foot in my house)

On my last trip to Singapore, I saw the red Hello Kitty lunch Bag and love it so much, unfortunately, it spoilt and I found the exact same on in KL. I happily bought 2. Along with the Hello Kitty mouse pad and Hello Kitty plastic bag.

Tadaaaa, the cute Hello Kitty plastic bag. I have no doubt, Penang's Daiso should have it soon but I couldn't resist. I also bought a weird looking hair bow hair clip. AHAHA!

I still have curly hair so it looks very odd on me. Not to mention the fake hair is super duper shiny; kinda like the girls in the shampoo commercials. But it's so cheap, it's hard to resist. I guess I could use it with one of my wigs.

Other than that, bought some over priced hair accessories from Sunway Pyramid Asian Avenue *kicked myself a few times after that* a Konad stamp M59 from some small shops in there for RM13

Sorry for the bad picture. I have taking pictures that has a reflective surface.

And even stopped by Etude House (as if we don't have one in Penang) and bought two nail colours with 30% discount. PK003 is a colour I can no longer find in the Penang Etude House. They don't seem to be restocking that much now and most of the nail colours are gone. BOOO!

Oh, I also got a size too big Hello Kitty T-shirt from Uniqlo. It was the only size left and I really wanted it. *sigh* Stupid me, should have checked another outlet first before being in a rush to buy this. But still, thank you Sir Terrible Memory!

And after all that, I finally got the Kutsuwa keychain making kit from Kinokuniya at KLCC. Whee! I been watching RRCherryPie on YouTube for a while now and his video inspires me. I am really happy I finally got my hands on it *rubs hands gleefully*

I actually just want the mold. The cookie mold is all that I wanted.. *wipe drool from mouth* All instruction are in Japanese and lucky me; the only word I can read is ... the full stop! Seriously. But it can't be that hard right? I mean, I watch RRCherryPie done this a dozen times! Instructions, distructions, who needs them?

Uhh.. then again. Thankfully, Sir Terrible Memory reads Japanese so I still have something to fall back on and when all fails - I have someone to blame! AHAHAHAAA!

*rubs hands gleefully while going.. OH HO HO HO HO HOOOOOO~*
