It's been a week since my eye surgery and it's been somewhat fine. Please note that eyery eye heals in different days and since mine had such high power to begin with, my healing time will be longer. The first day after the surgery, my colleagues mentioned that they were unable to even look at the computer screen and everything was extra bright for them, for me the brightness was fine but I became presbyopia. I was unable to read anything and it was hard to write as I could not see things close clearly. I am still suffering that now but I am able to see far with little or no problems. Doing eveything is a little like before, 60% based on sight, 40% based on guessing. Trust me, my guessing is so good that if I can read just bits of a word in a sentence, I can pretty much guess the rest.
I never realized how many people in the company actually went for this prcedure and weirdly, everyone says the same thing, 'Best thing I did in my life', even our very own Shop & Chomp, said the same thing, except that her's was something like 'Best thing I did in my life, besides marrying my husband' XD
As for me, would I say that? I'm still debating. I want clearer vision and I still want my contact lenses. LOL I'm a little greedy this way.
Best thing besides the eye surgery? I had little to no make up up nowadays. I am finally comfortable to show the world my actual skin. I'm so proud of myself. After the eye surgery, it was NO eye make up for a week. Imagine my horror when I first heard that, no mascara, no eyeliner? NOOOOOOOO!! Let me just die! Leave me alone and let me dieeeee!
Dramatic isn't it? But it was really how I felt. One week later, I don't care anyway. I just slap on some BB cream and blusher, colour in my eyebrows and I'm done. In 5 minutes flat and that means extra snooze time, yay!
A little while after surgery, I happily planned that after the surgery, I was going to secretly defy my surgeon's orders and wear contact lenses! Then I finally found out why that won't be happening.
1. Flattened cornea shape
2. Normal cornea shape
I can't wait to use make up again atleast, so many EOTDs I wanna try! So many bloggers out there with fantastic looking EOTDs that are calling my name!! ARGH!

You want perfect vision but contact lenses too haha. I know many people who wear circle lense but don't need to, it's just like makeup nowadays. My grandma has gotten this done twice so the first time might not last as long as you think, sometimes they don't do a good enough job and you have to go in a second time for surgery to correct the vision, lets hope this isnt the case ^^
@-@;;; Wow! I can't help but staring at the picture of how your cornea shape change! (I took a mirror to check what it normally looks like) So will it go back to it's normal shape or that's how its going to be?
I'm just so curious about this surgery.... sorry :P
wow. was the surgery expensive?
i think that your eyes look faboulus, i love this black like colour !
and does it mean that you'll never wear lenses again? or do you have just to wait till it's "healed"? ._.
I would trade all my coloured lenses for perfect vision x_x It's tough going with boring dark eyes though .. I'm still so excited you got the surgery!
Wow, I just read your other post that you recently got lasik done! I've been looking into this very seriously. How did the procedure feel? I really want to get done too but I'm still at the consultation stages :p I'm happy for you though! You have lovely eyes :)
