Subject: Shocking reasons why Malaysians are living beyond their means

I'm going to be touching on a touchy subject today. Not because I suddenly feel like an expert but because it bothers me - ALOT.

We live in a greedy little world--
that teaches every little boy and girl
To earn as much as they can possibly--
then turn around and
Spend it foolishly
We've created us a credit card mess
We spend the money that we don't possess
Our religion is to go and blow it all
So it's shoppin' every Sunday at the mall

- Shania Twain, Ka-Ching

Meowjesty frequently sends me articles touching on 'how people handle their finance and why people end up bankrupt'. Not exactly everyone's favourite subject. I enjoy reading them but it usually leaves me with a sense of frustration.

I don't consider myself the brightest person around and I have almost no willpower. There is NO such things as me sitting there looking at someone person eating - diet or not. I'll be helping the person polish off the delicious cake/ pie/ whatever but at the very least, I am living a debt free life with healthy account and some investments on the side.

I don't buy things I cannot afford. I do not spend future money. Yes I can afford to get a couple of Hermes Birkins on my own with cash and then what, eat grass flavoured grass for the next few months? I don't think so!

PETALING JAYA: Shopaholics and poor management of personal finances -
these best describe a good number of Malaysian consumers.

On average, 41 are declared bankrupt every day, mostly due to credit
card debts, while every weekend, about five million throng the 300-odd
shopping complexes in the country.

Fomca discovered that many of those declared bankrupt due to credit
card debts were below 40 years old.

"And they do not care about the consequences," said Fomca chief
executive officer Datuk Paul Selvaraj.

"In one of our surveys, we were shocked that many children did not
even know where money came from," he said, adding that most replied
"the ATM (automated teller machine).

"And, they do not believe that their parents have to work to earn
money," Selvaraj added.

Low said while some people shopped, claiming it to be therapeutic,
"the truth is, it is not necessarily based on need".

See said handling personal finances was something the young had to go
through themselves to gain experience.

Some 60% of young consumers were already in debt, Fomca said at a
separate function here yesterday.

"And, 72% of young adults have no retirement plans."

Nobody likes to read anything that long so basically the whole gist of is it that;

1) An unhealthy amount of kids thinks money either comes from the sky or grow on money trees. (If you have a kid like that, smack them, or better yet smack yourself for not teaching them)
2) We all shop too much.
3) We buy things we cannot afford (Hellooooooo Chanel!)
4) Youngsters don't think much about being bankrupt.

Marrying someone rich is ideal but according to Meowjesty, the rich unfortunately make up a small percentage of the population. You had better look like Ziana Zain (I have no idea why he said her) if you want to snag a rich person.

First off, some girls (kindly note the word 'some') are spending tons of money on cosmetics. I have read of some that frequently finish their monthly pay on skincare or cosmetics that even I can't afford. Worst, it doesn't happen once in a blue moon when we feel like treating ourselves but rather every month. Do they have savings?

Q: Why do you care how I spend my money? You ain't my mom!
A: It's not my job to control your spending but having some self awareness helps to keep you away from debt that might eventually burden the people you love. (People who financially burden their loved one with their uncontrollable spending have the same status of a cockroach in my eyes. Hah!)

Say YOLO and I'll smack ya :D

It's none of my business what you buy or how you spend your money but if you keep thinking that your parents will bail you out anytime, your thinking will be the reason for your down fall.

What happens when you decide that you can't pay off your debts? Declare bankrupt? What happens when you become a bankrupt in Malaysia?

1) Give up all your belongings and assets
2) Not allowed to open bank account without approval from Director General of Insolvency (DGI)
3) Not allowed to travel overseas. DGI will hold on to your passport.
4) Not allowed to do any business or become a company director or management.
5) A certain percentage of your monthly income goes to the DGI to pay your debt off.

To sum it it simply;

NO honeymoons to Paris! Or anywhere out of Malaysia to be exact. Not that it is the end of the world but don't we all have dreams of going somewhere romantic for our honeymoon? Not to mention the cheap Chanels and LVs waiting for us there!
Sacre Bleu!!

The way to stay out of being in a debt is easy.

1) Spend cash. I personally find it easier to keep track off. If the money in my wallet finishes. I am done for the month.
2) Spend within your means. If you are buying that LV you saw just to show off, you need to go to the nearest wall and bang against it 3 times. If the urge remains, bang it a further 3 times.
3) Save at tleast 30% of your pay.

Like Warren Buffett once said, If you buy the things you don't need, you'll soon sell the things you do.

Froggy NOTD; Promise Phan inspired look: Kate Middleton - FAILED!

Edited my post to make it less work ranty. Here's the NOTD that I did;

Since it's the 2nd time I did this, it took me a mere 10 minutes to complete everything. I had fun and looking at it makes me happy seeing 10 little froggies smiling back at me with their wonky dotted eyes. Heee~

Talking about wonky eyes..

Left to right: In door lighting; the "gimme all yer money" look
Excuse the smudged look, my make up is over 10 hours old.

Bought some contacts - again. This time it was from Blincon Sweetie range in Blue. I wanted something natural and not the Blue-enough-to-scare-grandparents-Blue. Not that I have any grandparents to scare.

It was very comfortable and did not feel drying so that a huge plus for me. It didn't give me the headache feeling that I get when I wore the contact lenses I brought from the night market.

I was told that 16mm lenses were not certified nor approved by our health department. I hope I am not misquoting or misinformed. It would seem the colours from 16mm seeps out after a while.

Promise Phan inspired: Kate Middleton

+

After watching Promise Phan on YouTube and the wonders of contouring, who wouldn't be tempted to try it out? Considering I got the typical flat face. Okay okay, I might not look like I ran into a wall but still it's not prominent in any way.

So I grab my concealer palette and got to work creating rail way tracks on the side on the nose.

Once the rail way track is completed, blend everything in with your fingers. If the shadows are still too damned obvious, use a little foundation to further blend everything. FYI, I applied the shadows on my cheeks a little too low.

No crease? Got eyeliner? Problem solved! Pffft, why spend RM2,000 in creating double eyelids. Promise Phan used black liquid eyeliner and I used brown instead. She has double eyelids to begin with, so it was merely enhancing it but for me it was more on the creating from scratch.

By this time, you can pretty much tell I look NOTHING like Kate Middleton. I just couldn't get the eyes right. Kate Middleton inspired? Gone with the wind. From here on, it's just a normal EOTD/FOTD.

Apply silver cream eye shadow on my lids on enhance my lids (below the brown eyeliner and below eyes) and then apply black eyeliner, apply false eye lashes. Apply a little brown eyeshadow below my eyes below the silver eye liner.

Apply peachy pinkish lipstick, some gloss, blusher and it's done. Oh don't forget to darken the eyebrows. I initially darken it quite a bit to make them look like Kate's.

Please don't bother telling me I look nothing like Kate. I'm really not that delusional.

Ash: How's the eye make up?
Jiun: Makes your eyes looks dollish and big
Ash: !!!
*wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Pimples galore, Bloops of goo Hello Kitty NOTD, Revlon Colorsilk in Brown Black, everyday EOTD

Working over 52 hours a week has finally taken it's toll. Especially on my face, not to mention ever since I permed my hair, I've been applying hair gel to it almost daily only to have uncontrollable pimples arriving by the Airbus A380.

Everything I use is of literally no use. So instead of scaring everyone off their dinner, laptops, computers. I'll just post up pictures of my NOTD.

Don't ask me about it, it really didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I wanted flowers on the white background. My flowers looked like a bloop of goo, so I made lots of bloops of goo.

I have no idea why it looks dirty here. It looked fine to me in real life. Either my eyes aren't that great or the camera's dirty. Bleh!

Brainless rant

After all the hype about Liese Bubble Hair dye. I finally decide to give my 2 cents about it. Note that everyone's hair is different and what I say might not be accurate.

A while back, I dyed my hair with Liese Casis Berry. (link here) I found it super easy and super quick to do, a BIG plus for me. The colours were vibrant as Elisa has mentioned. She did warn me that the colours will come out lighter than on the box she she chose me a slightly darker colour.

I wrote on my blog then that my hair felt coarser after that and weeks after the dye job, my hair dried up - badly. Soon after the colours faded, I had straw like hair and it was horrendous. I then had to dye my hair using Loreal Casting Creme Gloss(?). I guess the series I took wasn't 'strong' enough cause it couldn't cover the Liese Casis Berry. After just a month, the colours faded and soon after I had a 3 tone hair. Great - NOT!

After all this months of hair and face disaster, I finally snapped and went to Watsons to purchase Revlon's ColorSilk in Brown Black and dyed it back to natural.

No more gelling hair so my curls are a mess, not to mention I tied my hair up the entire day and only let it down to take the picture

Brown Black? Liesssss, it's black black. Not that I am complaining. Yes yes, I look a little craze in the picture on the right. Well, I never said I was pretty. AHAHAHAA! My colleague took a look at me and said, "Uhh, don't worry we'll get use to it, just give us 5 days. 5 working days" LOL!

Don't get me wrong, I like Liese products but I guess this is just a miss for me.

A colleague told me that Liese was selling for only RM28+ over in Pacific Shopping Mall. I also found Sunshine supermarket at Penang Times Square selling them for only RM33 when Watsons was selling them for RM38.

Went to Watson yesterday to get some Biore Facial Wipes and saw that they were going for RM35 now!

Well since I am already posting up crazed looking pictures of myself why not post up one to make everyone save money by losing their appetites.

Lookie ma, no makeup!

It's a pity it wasn't a clear shot. Not to mention, the pimples got worst after that.
Most amazing thing? Sir Stingy took a look at me and waved his hands pooh-pooh when I was depressed and said, "Pimples will go away, it doesn't bother me."

This was taken while my pimples wasn't in full force yet. I used MAC paint pot in Let's Skate, Bobbi Brown's Mahogany e/s and gel eyeliner. Yes, this is my everyday work look. I am lazy. It doesn't change.

Thank you Elyn! *muaks muaks muaks*

Hello Kitty Pancakes

Remember a while back I bought an el cheapo Hello Kitty "frying pan". Ta-daa.. after it stared at me for a couple of weeks, I decided to make some pancakes with it.

Awwww.. lookit how my first pancake turned out! Hello Kitty with a moustache.. NEXT! Hello Kitty with pimples. GROSS! NEXT! Hello Kitty with half face burned..NEXT! Oh wait, I give up. I'm not a quitter (but I know when I'm licked) it's not not a pancake day for me. I was missing milk anyway. We had milk actually, expired ones. I didn't use those of course. I had to do without milk. And what is pancake without milk?!

Was thinking that maybe Sue was right, maybe they were strictly for eggs or something. So I washed up and lo and behold. El cheapo could not have described them better. After 3 pancakes...

I was using a WOODEN spoon to flip the pan cake too. Righto...now all the pan is good for is ala Left for Dead 2 style. Smacking zombies and deflecting bullets.

P.s: I hard to never waste food but I threw the 3 pancakes away. I wouldn't have fed it to my dog.

I suck!

ROTD

I am not trying to offend anyone, this is just my honest opinion.

If there's one thing I hate, I hate answering emails about Limb Lengthening (Don't ask me why I'm answering them >.<) ;

"Hi I am 22 year old male currently standing at 169 cm. I would like to know the procedures in limb lengthening"

"hi my age is 27, i am 168 cm and i hoping to be about 174-176 cm"

"i'm 24. still a student. i have tried many methods to increase my height but nothing really works. recently i found out at limb lengthening surgery.
i am thinking of going for it. about the side effects i don't really mind as my goal now is to increase my height. my height now is 150 and i want to know how much can i grow taller with this surgery "

My fingers itch to tell them all to go borrow Elton John's platform shoes or even the Spice Girls'. They are great for stomping on grapes too. If they liked designer brands, the Vivienne Westwood ones are 9 inches and famous for Naomi Campbell falling off them. If all else fails, there's always the torture rack in the Tower of London.

I know I am not the shortest nor am I the tallest and I probably won't be able to understand how it feels being short. To me being tall means you look better in gowns and hey, no one will ever look down on you :D, being short on the other hands means you'll be forever young and you're automatically considered 'cute'. Being in between means you're neither here nor there. Gowns are not always pulled off and you're too much of a giant to be considered small and cute. Sheesh.

Hell, now I've always wanted to be atleast 170cm and strut around looking "down" on people but that is so not going to happen unless I'm wearing high heels or my friends are standing in a hole.

Then again thinking back, if I was ever given a choice, I wouldn't mind being petite. I will happily wear the cutest little dresses you've ever seen with frills and laces. Not always together I mean.

It's not that I have a problem with people trying to be tall but by breaking your bones and being wheelchair bound for 6 months to a year is. It's okay if the person has one leg shorter than the other but if you have perfectly healthy legs and you consider doing it because you want to be 3-4 inches taller, it makes me think either you're too rich and too vain.

If any of you have broken your legs/ hands before, if you remember the pain then and then think of doing it on purpose. And paying lots of money to do it. And being a nuisance to everyone (in more ways than one)

Limb lengthening procedure is not a one off thingie, there's no do it today, go home tomorrow. It's a 6 months or more long procedure and can cost up to USD60,000 in some places (China is cheaper) which includes multiple surgeries. As any surgeries, there are risk that comes with it. Risk as the legs will not grow at the same length again, infection, damaged nerves and blood vessels and even fat embolism that can result in death.

I've read some forums that some people are extremely happy with the end results and have no regrets doing it. Well, good for them. Really.

There are always things that we're unhappy about, some things can be changed, some can't or at least it's a little harder to. Or a lot more expensive anyway. My way of living is to make do with what God has given me.

If Life throws lemons at you, make lemonade. You can always add some cut peaches into it, a small decorative paper umbrellas, add more ice and turn it into ice blended lemonade, add soda water to the lemonade..

It's tempting to throw it back and tell Life to make its own lemonade but I'll probably just ask all my friends to go stand in a hole.

ROTD: I'ma Barbie girl, in a Barbie world, life in plastic, it's fantastic!

Sorry, it's been a while and unfortunately this post ain't about roses and rainbows. Just needed to get something off my chest.

Been down sick with viral infection - AGAIN! And didn't take any MC and went on working since there was too many work to do. My brain has been exhausted and I've on a short memory status. Been forgetting things like an old lady.

There's a lady (late thirties) who's quite well respected in my workplace that bothers me a little. Nothing all too serious but it seems that she often make subtle hints to me and everyone how she doesn't approve of me or the way I look or behave. I don't expect to go anywhere and win a bloody popularity contest here. All I want to do is get along with everyone, get our job done and go home.

The first few months of working in my new job; she started hinting to me how I should not act fake and how she and her husband (she married early) are comfortable with each other and how not fake they are.

Problem is, I am who I am. Like I said, I'm not here to win a popularity contest, there's no reason for me or anyone for that matter (in my opinion) to act fake. This is me. I talk in a girlish voice, I grin and tell stupid jokes, I nod my head respectfully and smile even when I'm scolded etc.

Elisa did mention that people who doesn't know me will cleverly 'assume' that I act fake. People who's with me for a while, knows that that is just me. Thinking that time will prove her wrong eventually, I let this comment slip.

How long can a fake person keep up in a relationship? I'm curious. If I were that horribly fake and manage to keep it up for 13 months and see my bf everyday, I deserve an Oscar!!

The face. In this case, MY face. People take one look at me and also assumes that they know me their entire lifetime and how they don't need to even talk to me to know me. They assume that I do not know any hardship, is unable to handle anything important, can't work, can't hold a job for 6 months, a flower pot. Will wilt under sun, will never eat in hawker centres and only eats expensive food stuff and all, can't hold secrets, gossipy. It's incredible how long the list goes.

I admit I'm not perfect. I'm far from it. I have a list of faults probably that long too but it's none of the above. I had live by myself in a strange place with no fan, no lights, no furniture eating nothing by instant noodles for dinner every night for 2 months. I have been thru shit and more, I can hold a job for 6 months and more. I like umbrellas because I have pigmentation problem, I dislike gossip, I'm a fantastic secret holder. I eat anywhere and almost anything.

But anyway, as of late, she's hinting to me how she disapproves of the way I look. In her words, she's okay with girls dressing sexy but doesn't approve of things like colouring the hair. How she like au natural. Good for her. Also if my hair was under a scarf, I wouldn't bother to do anything to it too.

I don't wear sexy but I consistently colour my hair, recently hair my eyebrows embroidered, wear make up (mascara and occasionally falsies) and in other words - Look fake.

She never says anything like that to my other colleague that colours their hair in light browns and stuffs. Weird..

Ta daaaa, move over Barbie! I'm here to stay!

Now all I need is double eyelids, a boob job, some lip fillers, blond hair, blue contacts and I'm all set. I don't know about you guys, but I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of 550cc for my boobies...

Now to get my Ken, my pink convertible, my pink palace and the RM10k needed for my boob job...

Sponsors anyone?

Eye brow re-embroidered; new hobby, notd

I have friends who have too much free time..

I admit that I've been extremely lazy to blog lately. My head is filled with a million and one things. Last Saturday, I went to have my eye brow re-embroidered. It's been two years and after seeing how my eyebrows refuses to show up in pictures, I decided to fork out the money and just do it. Don't get me wrong, I love light eyebrows but not that light.

* If you don't know what eyebrow embroidery is; It's somewhat similar to tattoo but it's temporary and the needle does not go in that deep. The super dark, wide brows will only last for a week before it peels off and reveals a much softer and smaller eyebrow underneath. It's good for people like me who's born with little/ patchy eyebrows.

It's not snot, I swear! It's the numbing cream >.>
After 3 days, snot cream runs out and it's time to switch to a clear cream

Since Felicia, my beautician upgraded her anesthetic cream, this round of "poking" didn't hurt at all. Whee! The hurt came later instead. Back then, I wasn't working and one week passed by fast and without much incident. This time, I was working and I scared lots of people shitless in my workplace. They all stared.

The thing about Malaysian is that we hardly bother to ask. If we don't understand something, we keep quiet and try to find out ourselves. In this case, they saw, they laughed, they thought I had a galactic battle with my eyebrow pencil - and lost. End of story. *sigh* I don't blame them since if we asked, we might be thought of as nosy.

I never did mind being called nosy. I don't butt into personal things but I've always been curious and I live by the motto, 'If you don't know - ASK!' I insist on holding a mirror when doing my facials and wants to be told what's going on and all. Same thing when I got to the dentist and so forth XD

So anyway, everywhere I went, people talked to my eyebrows. Yup, you read right. They talked to my eyebrows. They didn't look at me or my eyes but instead at my eyebrows which was quite funny. Some girls gets guys talking to their chest/boobies. I get them talking to my eyebrows.

Of course, there was comments such as, 'Whoaa..' from complete strangers while passing by or the stupid (don't mind me) aunty where we usually have our lunch which told her worker to "look for the lady with the thick thick make up" Thick thick here is our usual way of emphasizing something. It's like the word, 'very'. It hurts cause I was only using sunblock and a light powder. *sobs loudly*

After the 4th day, I decided to put on my devil-may-care attitude. I walked about to hotels, shopping malls with my gruesome eyebrows. Hah! Enjoy it, you won't be seeing it for the next 2 years. After one week, the dark brown will all peel off and underneath is the 'real' colour.

Anyway I realized with natural falsies, it makes the eyebrows less conspicuous, it might just be me though.

Staying at home, I've taken up a hobby. After much calculations, I knew I wasn't going to be able to afford Christmas presents for friends this year so the next best thing was to make some stuffs as gifts.

The first few tries ended with JH telling me, 'I suggest you don't give them to your friends..' They were awful alright. I found some cookie cutter and suddenly everything became much easier. The air-clay I used was too fragile to be rolled into roses or any fancy shapes. They were tough to work with. In the end, some of the things I made was a combi of both clay and air-clay. Air clays were great "creams" and toppings such as strawberry or cherries. Roses and hearts are better off made with clay.

Made plenty of spare parts and after using JH's expensive GamesWorkshop paint, I finally bought some acrylic paint of my own. In primary colours only. I'll mix whatever I need myself to cut cost. Paint bought at Nanyang, Carnavon Street.

ROTD: I hate day trips

Serious ROTD

It's seriously been a stressful weekend for me. Me and Sir Terrible Memory went to his friend's wedding in Sungai Petani, Kedah and while I do sincerely like the couple very much, I did not enjoy the trip at all. It was a mess. Too many, 'Please tell who and who this' and as you know when people pass too many messages around, somewhere along the line is going to get lost and people are going to get misinformed. The guy that was suppose to keep Sir TM informed, forgot so many details, his wedding would be one I rather skip and not go. No offense to anyone.

We rushed down from Penang to SP around 9pm on Friday, we were suppose to start the journey by 7pm+ but as usual, there will always be people who can't tell the time or is not bothered to be punctual. We call it, the Malaysian timing as people tend to be always late and it annoys the shit out of me. It's as if, they don't even have enough respect for us to bother being punctual. Thanks!

We rushed from Penang to Sungai Petani (45 minutes) and the back to Penang (45 minutes) the next morning and then back to Sungai Petani (45 minutes) again in the afternoon for the 'fetch the bride'. Then on Sunday, we drove the the borders (45 minutes) and into Thailand (one hour or more) in a van. Here's where the interesting part starts.

For one, Sir Terrible Memory lived up to his name and left my favourite sunglasses in the van. When I realize that my sunglasses was not in my bag and my gut feeling telling me it was gone and I was never going to find it again, I ended up crying loudly in the side walk of Hadyai. I had never been more disappointed or as angry with him as I was that day. We ended up spending our evening waiting under the thunderstorm drenched from head to toe to find out if my sunglasses was still in the van. Of course, it wasn't. Truthful people don't exist anymore, D'oh.

I cried like an idiot and didn't bother to cover the mess of my face all the way back to the car. Not to mention, I ate some bad food, was having diarrhea and was down with a terrible migraine. Yay me! Didn't I mention before that I FUCKING HATE DAY TRIPS?

I was still stressed from all the driving and then some "unneccessary" driving, my hair was coming off in chunks, the weather is freaking hot, his friends can't plan to saves their life, believe it or not, we spent over 2 hours getting to Thailand and we only manage to walk around for less than 2 hours by ourselves and spent a good chunk of it waiting for people to gather cause there was always people going M.I.A , on top of all that I have to go to work on Monday and this week is suppose to be a crazy week at work and then all this.

I bought 2 sunblocks from boots at 250baht each and cashew nuts for my parents. That is all.

I enjoyed the trip as much as I enjoyed my time at our General Hospital pulling out my wisdom tooth. Given a choice, I rather have my wisdom tooth, yes all four of them, pulled out all over again than to go for that stupid trip.

*The on the trip from Thailand (1 hour or more) to the borders, back to Sungai Petani (45 minutes) and then back to Penang (45 minutes) all in a day. Can I get my medal now?

*45 minutes if you're driving at 110-140km/h, and our way back to SP, the customs queue was as long as the queue if LV decides to have a 50% sales on all items. Imagine.

I acknowledge that people forgets things all the time and that Sir Terrible Memory has been trying hard to make it up to me. I really love him for that *sigh* At least we have some nice pictures to show for the trip.

Two of my favourite parts of the wedding was the flower arrangements. Very sweet and pretty. The flower corsage was another favourite, they used fake flowers instead of the real things and with our heat, humidity, the real stuff would have died-ed, wilted and turned brown, the fakies remained pretty :D

Don't worry Sir TM, me still love you

I stood at the bottom of the stage and oogled up at the pretty cake. Gold, Lacey and flowery. Me likey; Me and Sir TM during the dinner. I must have eaten off all my lipstick by then.

Dessert, little cubes of creamy ice cream, my first time seeing these and definitely liked. Except for the few weird flavours.

When will I ever learn?; JH's rabbit dance

Like seriously, when will I ever learn not to trust sellers online. I have stopped buying clothes online after I bought this shirt that had one sleeve shorter than the other, the collar lopsided and one of the pockets was sewn higher than the other. A shirt fit able to be nothing more than a rag to wipe your feet with. Even then, it's probably useless.

Also the argument with the stupid wig seller and such. Sheesh, all these drama queens in the making. After that, I just rather swallow and kick myself in the *toot*. I've grown to old to argue with all the bimbos.

Anyway, a week ago or so, I ordered some things online. I bought a laptop keyboard film protector, laptop stubs to elevate my laptop (duh!), ribbon shaped hair whatever the name. Paid RM4 for the shipping and lets see what I got;

A slow mail that took five days to reach, that apparently cost the seller only RM2.50. Thanks for being untruthful but I'll take it that it's your petrol price to drive to the post office. I do sell things online and everytime I post something out, I tell the buyer the exact postage price, I take it that it's my duty as a seller to at the very least provide the effort to drive to the post office. Whatever.

I got a holey laptop keyboard film protector. Ha-Ha. Found this both hilarious and frustrating. I doubt I can complain about this to the seller since she'll probably say that I didn't tear the film off the cardboard properly.

I did checked though, the cardboard that the film came stuck too had no small hole left behind. Whatever.

The 4 little pieces of laptop stubs that came are uneven, so for now, my laptop is tilting to one side. If you think my table is the culprit, let me assure you that my table is solid wood. I switch the stubs around and yes, it tilts depending on where the slightly 'shorter' stub is. *sigh*

Ever heard of the magic fringe holder whatever? A hair piece that seems to have velcro stuck on the other side to hold your fringe up. Well, was looking for the for months and finally found a seller!

I bought more that that T.T

The price was reasonable too. So I got a few, I thought it would be nice to give some to friends. And when they arrived, I decided to keep all for myself. YESHU! All for myself...

&^%$#@!%$#@!

I don't wanna insult my friends by giving them something this badly made. Not in the mood to embarrass myself any further, thank you very much. God, this things were so badly made, I'm left speechless. Since I now know what these things are really made from, I'm gonna save me some money the next time and just use our office velcro and stick them to my head.

What I paid for an expected and what I got was a little...different

Looking on the bright side, guess this can ween me off my online shopping addiction for a while :D

For now, atleast I got JH's rabbit dance. Something he does to cheer me up whenever I feel down or gloomy.

Directions: Nod head, bend hands, keep them close together, bounce hands up and down, bounce hand left to right with a silly grin on your face

XD

JH: Love you

Now lets see how fast he sends me a message to tell me I'm embarrassing him. Nyahhaa!

Eye spy with my little eye and I see fine lines!!!

It's been a while since I last updated. Work has been keeping busy now that I am to head one of our latest products and handle everything to do with it. From scratch all the way to how to market it to the public. Damn that's tiring. While I'm at that, I'm to help out another department during my mornings that's short on hands besides doing my own stuffs. Please increase my pay! I need it for all the anti-aging creams I would need *sniff sniff*

One morning while looking at myself in the mirror, I discover I have fine lines under my eyes and I'm not even 26 yet! This can't be happening! NOOOOOOO!!

Then again, a few years back when E mentioned that at the age of 25 we should start using anti-aging stuffs, guess she wasn't kidding. Forget all the whitening shit or acne whatever, I need anti-aging stuffs. I don't wanna look any older, I've been getting enough nasty rumours about me dating a younger guy (They were referring to JH) when JH is actually 3 years older than I am!

Every time I smile, the lines bothers me T.T

I actually have a secret paranoia on eye creams, I remember that when I was younger, I bought Virgin Vie's eye cream to try and I woke up with a deep line under one eye. I was so pissed. A few months later, I tried it again and the same thing happen. I got so pissed I chucked the entire barely used eye cream into the dust bin. I regret that now since the bottle was really nice :P but after that, I avoided eye creams like a plague. I look better without it. But I digress.

So since budget is tight, (STBM - Sucks to be me) I search around for an affordable eye cream that I won't have to go rob the bank for. In the end, I couldn't afford Aqualabel by Shiseido and I wasn't too sure if the Pure Beauty eye cream was any good since there was no reviews yet, so I opted for something safe - Olay.

Hmm, reminds me of NYX's concealer :D

Olay total effects anti-aging eye cream (15 ml for RM48.90) that is suppose to improve dullness for a radiant glow, lessens the appearance of dark circles, visibly reduces the look of fine lines (pleaseee!), evens out skin tone, intensively hydrated dry skin, noticeably softens uneven texture, helps minimize appearance of puffiness.

Call me paranoid all you want but lines around the eyes are one of the easiest way to tell a woman's age; besides the hands and necks anyway in my opinion. Consider yourself very lucky if you got fleshy hands.

Please work!

I also went ahead and bought the ... hell, I don't even know what is it called but anyway it's part of Olay's total effects range (RM22 for 20g). It's 'designed' to replace your moisturizer and comes with SPF15. So it says on the box.

So starting today, I'll be using these items religiously till I see some sort of results. Preferably good ones. While I'm at that, I also got some eye mask to try out.

Bone Glue zymoden eye membrane, Dilute the fine lines... WTF?!

Damn, if I have read the name properly before buying, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I hate things that makes no sense. I don't wanna buy something that is as good as reading the Egyptian hieroglyphs. Remind me to name my products something no one can even pronounce like Ashley's Good Zxygmugcein eye patches super! that promises to 'rubber off' fine lines. Sheesh.

Collage Crystal Eyelid Patch

Lets see how good these even are. Wish me luck. Now excuse me while I go 'rubber off' some lines.
