Crease? What about it?
The 60's look looks something like above where they deepen the crease of the eyes by applying eyeshadow. Of course, the picture above is an updated version. I will not be doing the updated version but rather a toned down everyday look that won't make your colleague shit their pants when they see you. Thank God the Hungry Ghost month is over!
Of course this will be mostly aimed at monolids like myself since those with creases just follow your crease. For us poor folks, Jen says it best when she said, ' My crease doesnt exist dammit.'
So lets begin to fake our crease, I used whatever that is available within arm's length and grabbed a brown eyeliner. I drew the line following the place between my bone and eyeballs, so don't be alarmed when you find that the shape is a little different, both my eyes' line came out different :P
One mistake that I did was to bring the line so close to the inner corner of my eyes. For those with creases it's okay but for us monolids, we should end the line a quarter or so and not so deep in.
The line is a guide line and after it's done it's job blend the *toot* out of it. Those with crease can probably leave the line a little more obvious but for monolids, it may be best to blend it till it's barely seen. Draw eyeliner and tilt it up. Draw the eyeliner thicker towards the back. And don't be stingy, draw alot! XD
And then you'll probably end up looking as silly as me. Nyahaha! See SEEE, isn't the crease looks a little weird on me? So I applied extra foundation just to cover the inner corner line that I initially drew and used some highlighting colour to colour my lids just above the eyeliner and below the "crease". Blend blend blend and draw some eyeliner about a quarter or half and apply both upper and bottom falsies. Which I *ahem* don't own any bottom ones :P
The lighting ain't the best so the crease line ended up not very obvious on the camera. Stupid camera, but bear with me, I highly doubt I'll be changing camera anytime soon. Mine still working so... I can't bear to change it.
Oh I forgot, for the 60's, they tend to darken their eyebrows quite a bit, for the modern version of the 60's, not too much so hey, it's up to you on whether you want the vintage or the modern 60's look.
I doubt it, GAH!

A crease! I spot a crease! It turned out pretty good actually (after you fixed it). Time to find my brown eyeliner pencil and try it out.
This is actually a good idea... I always have to create my crease. (yes, I actually make it. it doesn't exist as well T^T) Hmmmm.... Even that first dramatic one looks interesting.... tempting tempting...
*light bulb switch on*
THank you !!
I liked this look! Very chic.
very nice look! The first model picture is so pretty.
Such a simple but great look. I am obsessed with this look after seeing the pixiwoo video - how she transforms from the beginning to the end is just amazing - but then it might not be so wearable out. Yours is more natural.
Wow..Somehow this look like the Maybelline Cat Mascara..Nice leh!!
Love,
