Property Fair in Penang

It's been a hectic week for me, lots of running around like a headless chicken. I'm already very close to my third month and I'm still no where close to my confirmation target. I'm still spending most of my time building repertoire with the developers, agents and lawyers.

The highlight of the week was working in the Property Fair in PISA as odd as it sounds, I had lots of fun. Being there on Friday and being as blur as 'sotong' I walked around aimlessly as I there alone while Elisa and Kern was having delicious luncheon with their lawyer, Ms Wong at the E&O eating smoked salmon and oysters while I was eating a tasteless char koay teow in PISA. So while walking around after lunch, I caught sight of one of IJM's sales advisor, Jacky Chan (Seriously that's his name). I was super lucky that he remembered me from Elisa's blog as he's a frequent reader. LOL!

So I requested to hang around their booth and basicly be a parasite. If any 'potential' customers were to approach IJM regarding their property, we were to intoduce ourselves and hopefully get some sales if they needed a housing loan.

Oh la la~ The Summer Place Condominium

So while hanging around, I learnt of their new upcoming projects such as The Summer Place Condominium. It's along the Jelutong Expressway and is currently open for registration only. It'll be launching sometime near Jan of next year if I'm not mistaken. IJM's The Spring Condominium was sold out in hours after launching with people queueing up as early as 3am in the morning, I wonder how the sales will be like for The Summer.

I wish IJM would have more projects in Tg. Tokong or Tg. Bungah side.

Time passed by really fast on Saturday while working with Elisa and Kern, Elisa was required to service Plenitude a new up and coming developer that will be developing Feringghi Heights next to Sri Sayang. The price tag is a little scary but it another drool-worthy eye candy condo.

It's been some time since I last worked at a roadshow and I guess I've forgotten how fun it used to be. I remember a few years back how Elisa and I loved to work in roadshows because of the pay and flexibility. It's usually just 2 or 3 days work and it was fun. I don't really have a problem talking to complete strangers and I've during my stinct with IJM, I forgot that I was working for a bank and was happily getting people to register for The Spring and Summer Place. But I must apologize to Jacky if I was being a pest that day.

It was relatively stress-free till it was time to get home. OH BOY, I was bloody glad that Elisa and Kern carpooled with me that day so I wasn't lonely, it rained non-stop the entire day and the roads were flooded and jammed bumper to bumper. We left at 7 pm only to reach home a good 1 1/2 hours later on a usual 35 minutes ride.
