Dark Blue EOTD + thank you Khim Sun

Its been a long while since I got this lazy. There was so many stuffs that I did the past few weekends and never updated. So I decided to condense and cram everything into one tiny post. Yay!

First up, bought a new dress while out shopping with mom a couple of weeks ago. I don't usually buy outfits NOT on sale and this was no difference. It was a bad shot as I intended it to be for a make up shot. But anyway, this is how I usually look like on a normal day. The top of the dress has some designs as you can see but other than that it's down to the knees and a little flow-y and blue. I love love blue dresses. Dark blues, cobalt blues, sky blues all fit me quite well.

Simple make up due to lack of ideas

The dress inspired me to do a dark blue EOTD but working with dark blue eyeshadow to me was messier than black. Not to mention, the only dark blue shadow I do have is Stila I-have-no-idea-the-name colour. I bought it a long long time ago, yes the date of expiry has probably came and gone but I think I got it when I was still with my 1st ex and that was a good 6 years ago? Muahaha! I hate the colour because the drop out was fantastic, colour pay off was not that good and I just couldn't handle it. So for a good part of it's miserable life, it stayed in my drawers. Till I got the dress and got inspired that is.

Keep in mind that my first priority in this EOTD was not to get the bruised effect

The blue on the bottom was a little too much for me, had to clean it up and reduce since it gave me the "Ouch, I got punched" look. Not pretty

Primer to the rescue! Make the damn thing colour stick and not move like it's not supposed to. Anyway, apply the colour up a little over the crease (if you have any, I don't) then apply MAC Vanilla to inner corner and bring Vanilla all the way to almost the middle of the lids, it should soften the blue near the middle a little.

Blend the blue upwards so the lines aren't all that harsh. Pat in a little more Vanilla and then line your eyes with liquid or whatever liner you have to both upper and lower lash line. Add mascara like there's no tomorrow!

And ta-daaa, clap yourself in the back, you're done. Now take a step back and look at yourself, IF you look bruised, take it all off, throw the eyeshadow away after stomping on it and put on another colour. The end.

Left to right: Stila Tutu and i-have-no-idea-the-name

And hey, while we're still on the topic of make up, guess who bought me something. The only guy that has consistantly bought me something and the ONLY guy who probably bought me any make up who's not my boyfriend. Heh. It was to be my belated B-day pressie and it came with a very sweet card which says;

Men? Hordes? At my feet? *start using eyeshadows* Nah kidding, the colours are so pretty I have not even touched them. Just like Elyn's Stila's kit. All these babies deserves to be looked at and drooled a little longer before the opening ceremony.

Oh la laaaa, who made you so pretty, my lovelies~

Thank you thank you thank youuuuuuuuuuu~ The more I look at it, the more I can't wait to try it. *blows kisses*

Bought a couple of bangles with E a few days ago. Wasn't intending to buy anything, it just happened and ouch, it set me back by RM60. BOOO!

Because of the bangles, I was dead brokeeeeee. And worst, I still needed some facial masks since I broke (here's the words again) out after using some wrong products. So one fine afternoon, E, K and I met up for a quick lunch since it's been ages since I last saw K. To think, I used to see them everyday during work. So off to Perangin Mall we went, it's close by the office anyway and my masks were sold there. I had a budget of RM20 that day and I was to stick to it by hook or by crook and it includes getting my foundation, lunch and mask!

Pro-Q peel off mask in soy bean and red beans, the two things I dislike eating!

They were only RM9.40 for two and it's suppose to work pretty well, so I'm waiting to try them out and see. It was also in Perangin Mall (which I suspect is going to collapse one day due to the weakening structure. So if there's anything you wanna buy, get it quick, the mall is probably not going to last another decade) that I found the foundation I was looking for. Okay, somewhat of it.

Some foundation that I can not tell the company name with the words, 'Oil Effect' on it. EWWW, the colour was too reddish and I have a feeling I'm gonna end up looking either like a half bakes lobster or a Red Indian wannabe

E was looking for some hair scrunchie and hair clips and on the side of the booth had all sorts of made in China make up. It was not a tester yet the sales lady never said anything when I happily tried the colours on *snort*No one cried bloody Mary only because everything there was really cheap anyway.

There was a 50% off everything and so I happily browsed through. I saw the foundation and didn't like it since it was soo sheer but it turned out to be buildable. The funky part was if you rub the foundation after 2 or 3 layers, everything clumps up in a not very nice way. It was selling for RM3.50 so I got it. Can you imagine a foundation being only RM3.50? That's like beyond cheap! Thanks to that, ganguro FOTD is on the way!!!

P.s: Lunch was RM9, Foundation was RM3.50, Mask was RM9.40.+ I had to pay for parking which was another RM2. I overspent by RM3.90 *sigh*

Growing cobwebs and mold at home..still unemployed

It's already been a good one coming to two months of being unemployed. I have no one to blame but myself, I've been sleeping and waking up at ungodly hours and been a lazy searching for a job. Not that I never tried I did, I applied for a government position in Penang and a couple of days ago I received a letter congratulating me on being 'accepted'. Yay? Here's the catch, there's currently no vacancy so I'm advised to surf their website and apply in when I see a spot.
*cough*

*clutches her flat chest and wheeze*

*falls of chair dramatically*

Pardon my stupidity, but I've always thought that usually there's a position available before companies hire people. Okay, it's alright, at least I now know. So while sleeping on my bed cursing my luck, I remembered all the shit I went through during my college years and I feel a lot better knowing that if I manage to live through that, I can live through almost everything.

Compared to alot, I've been fortunate but not fortunate enough to escape internship. I was to pack and ship to our capital, Kuala Lumpur to do my radio internship with a government station then. I cried and begged, pulled my hair and a few other people's hair (no, I was kidding) and had sleepless nights. I wasn't ready to leave my comfort zone along with my family and friends behind to some unknown place. Plus, I didn't even like KL since the pollution was so high it makes me break out like *toot* and not to mention I have NO friend there minus my college mates that I wasn't all to close with. Oh, how I cried, ranted and wanted to die. Hey, I was young and silly then.

I'm wiser now. Yes I am, I can prove it. I have all 4 wisdom tooth out. To be truthful, I'm no wiser but a lot less sillier. That aside, the first day I went to KL, my dad accompanied me by bus to my new place that I had no idea where. My uncle came and together we got lost for a good 2 hours all because my room mate couldn't tell the specific area name.

Lo and behold, my darlings, my 'smart ass' of a friend and her KL boyfriend chose a place 10 minutes walk from the KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) which is our local train station which takes us directly to Angkasapuri, where we worked. Cool right? Wrong, it was also a place that was probably too dangerous for two young girls to venture out past 9 o'clock. Rumors has it that it was an area where a couple of years ago there was Indonesian workers with machetes fighting also it was near the area where a raped and murdered victim was found. Headline news then. I'm so lucky...

So living in an empty flat was not very fun. Note the empty. I had a mattress in my room along with my luggage which double and triples as my dressing table, dinner table, luggage, safe whatever. My room had NO lights and NO fan and NO hot shower, imagine I up and about at 6am and I hop around madly in my bathroom. My bathroom has NO mirror as well. I slept at 9pm and wake up at 5am (roll about till sunrise) every single day. I do my make up for 2 months in the freaking dark.

Ash the cockroach sings " I will survive!"

I ate instant noodles every single working night. Imagine my hair loss and imagine my stash of instant noodles of every flavor in the cupboard. Oh and we didn't have dining table chairs so we can't eat at the table. I turned an old cardboard box upside down and that was my dining table. Just gotta be quick since my bowl cum cup was heavy, after a while, it'll sink down the middle of the box where the joints meet. Yay me, me smart!

I have NO laptop since it died and there was no connection anyway. So I bought books to read. I read on the toilet bowl and after a good 3 hours, I had to stop, not because I was sleepy but because I couldn't feel my ass anymore. I had to crawl to bed. That night I slept Superman style. On my already flat chest.

My room had no curtains, I had to pink panther around after bathing and crawl on the floor to my luggage just in case. Once, there was people painting the flat on cranes and I was asleep in my room wearing an obscenely short dress. Nice, I was a flasher even then.

Ganguro cockroach?

I couldn't take it anymore but only left when a friend insisted I bunked over in their house. Was I glad? I am! I am! A few nights prior to that, someone broke into the electric room and cut off the power to our unit and the committee member (no 's') kept insisting that me and my room mate wrote down the names of the people living in our unit. I understood that everyone wrote but for us, it was dangerous because everyone there knows there was only 2 girls in that unit and we worked from 9am - 5pm every day. I had a minor argument and ended up writing the owner's name instead.

Not to mention, I suspected my room mate was over charging me for the room and I was suspecting someone has been stealing my money I had in my luggage in my room. I lock up my room but not my luggage but the owner of the apartment came over (twice) to fix my room light (which still ended up spoils after ONE day) and thus had the keys to my room. My room mate only calls him over when I'm not around and is scared of me talking to him or seeing him which fueled my suspicion.

Despite all that, if given a choice to do it all over again. I would. The friends I made, the people who treated me so kindly when I wasn't close to them was sweet beyond words and I loved working there. I looked forward to every working day and hated weekends. I wonder if I'll ever get the feeling again.

Thinking back, I laugh at the memories and reminds myself to be like a cockroach, I'm not talking about being brown, disgusting and lives in a damn, dark hole but to adept to surroundings and know that hey, the cockroaches outlived even the dinosaurs! They're millions of years old. Gotta adept and find a job or I'll start stealing other people's food soon.

EDIT: Okay the Ganguro FOTD should be up latest by later today or tomorrow. Be warned. Picture heavy...

I think my brains got fried...again + Tongxinxuemei paper masks

Updates has been slower since I'm still recovering from my fever, I know there's lots of unanswered replies and I'm sincerely sorry about the delay. It's also been about a week since I last went to the gym, something I do two or three times a week. Sulin called early this morning since I promised that I'll go accompany her today. Wasn't in the best of forms. Instead, all I wanted to do was eat. Been eating alot lately and I'm not sure why, I seem to be hungry every few hours since I fell sick. I guess it's normal though.

After gym and lunch, Kern and I headed over to Gurney Plaza since there was somethings we both wanted to check out. For me, I wanted to check out the paper masks selling at the weekend bazaar and try to find some really cheap tan foundation for the Ganguro FOTD. The cheap foundations' tan wasn't even close to tan. I feel kinda bad now for the people with tanner skins, I now know why I usually see them with the wrong coloured foundations and even if they wanted to use BB creams, it's hard (not impossible but really hard) to find something that matches them.

So my foundation quest came to a sad end. I can now only rely on my Elianto's powder that I got some time back thinking that I could contour my face with. I've tried it and it will "somewhat" work. It's not as tan as I would like it but still... all unless I can head over to MAC and beg Chris for some samples.

Anyway after months of readings JeanJean's blog, I became somewhat curious about all the paper masks as well. So during my time in Gurney, I bought two just to test it out. They were selling it pretty expensive at RM3 per piece. Some pieces went up to as high as RM5.90 for one!

Came home, got on the computer and checked, I'm worried about putting paper mask or anything unfamiliar on my face since I break out easy so I only wanted masks recommended by JeanJean. Lo and behold, I mistaken the brand Tongxinxuemei for LIYANSHIJIA.

Big difference right? I mean, they don't even sound the same. Problem was, I didn't remember the bloody damned name except that it was some Chinese name. Worst, I have difficulty remembering Chinese names because they are so complicated; especially the ones from China where they have lots of 'X' and 'Q' which I admit I have difficulty pronouncing. Not that I can't, but it takes a while for me to recall that words with 'Q' has a 'ch-' sound or something like that.

My first thoughts when I saw my mistake " I suck chicken ass"

*sigh*

The Red Wine mask is from Hong Kong while the Hyaluronic Acid Mask (what a name) is from Korea. Or so I was told.

The Red Wine Mask contains red wine polyhenol essence, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, magnesium phosphate, bark of whete (no such word but maybe it's wheat?) mulberry root essence, vitamin A etc. Not to sure what is the other ingredients states as 'etc' though.

It is stated behind that:

It can effectively activate skin, reendure skin with ample energe, make active skin of fae and appreciate whitening and crystal skin. It can quickly improve vigor of skin cells, offer ample moisture and nutrition to skin. Only 20 minutes, it can make facial skin sparkling from inside to outside and resume skin elasticity, leave skin rosy, cleansing, whitening and beautiful perfect texture.

Don't you just love it when people speak or type Engrish. I've always thought Fae was some kind of fairy creature. So this mask makes fairy creatures appreciate whitening and crystal skin? What the hell is reendure and energe?

Then again, I was kidding when I said I didn't understand. I DO understood bad English, you know why? Cause people nowadays can't speak proper English anyway. And if you do, prepared to get lots of negative comments. I kid you not. It's fast becoming a crime to speak good English in Malaysia. Not only will you be an outcast but mostly people who cant speak English for shit for whatever reason they never bothered to learn will accuse us of trying to show off. Remember there was a time I was arguing with a seller over a defect item she sold me? Well she and her friends all bombared me and accuse me of showing off my English - OUCH!

And the government is thinking of reverting Science and Maths to our National Language. I can see the future. I can see that Malaysia will be filled with people who can't speak English. I fear.

Left to right: Isn't the girl so pretty! I can't read a word, thats cause it's in Korean

I can't tell you much about the second mask since I myself can't understand a word of Korean other than Hyaluronic Acid, high moisture lock water white facial mask. And at the bottom, it's No.1 for something. Not too sure what.

The only thing I'm keeping my fingers crossed is that it won't break me out. Been neglecting my face the whole week now and was worried about its temprement but with the mask, it's either better or worst. I'm hoping it's for the better.

Closed Poll for Ganguro Ashley

A while ago (3 days to be exact) I asked the readers if they would like to see me as a Ganguro, the poll closed with an extremely close votes. There was only 17 who voted (LMAO) and Yes, sounds interesting won by 1 vote. This is so sad. Because of this, I was a little reluctant to even do a FOTD on this.

Its been a while since I did anything fun and interesting that one night it occurred to be that maybe a Ganguro look would be fun. JeanJean suggested a runway model look but stingy and poor me don't buy fashion magazines (Nyahaha) and even if I search the internet, I'm doubtful I can pull of their sometimes extreme looks and still look good. I'm no model, that's for sure. But hey, thanks JeanJean for the suggestion!

Just a little 101 on Ganguro style. Ganguro literally means Black Face Girls, think neon coloured hair, tanned skin, brightly coloured clothings, loud, loud and even more LOUD. Click here to find out what they are all about. I'm not trying for the more extreme Yamanba (extreme Black Face) look.
"Researchers in the field of Japanese studies believe that ganguro is a form of revenge against traditional Japanese society due to resentment of neglect, isolation, and constraint of Japanese society. This is their attempt at individuality, self-expression, and freedom, in open defiance of school standards and regulations."
- Wikipedia

I do admit that some of them actually scares the shit outta me and if I do meet one in real life, I would most probably step a side for them to pass, but that doesn't stop the admiration for them. These girls got guts to even attempt something like this in public, I give them that. My parents would probably lock the doors to prevent me from stepping outside if I ever attempt anything like that on a daily basis.

No I am not going to look like that and NO, I rather be a nun than to date a guy looking like that, what the *toot* was he thinking?

To do some reseach on them, I went to whatever besides Wikipedia and Youtube, and watch videos. Watching some, my first thoughts were, "If mom saw me like that, she'll disown meeehh!" and after that, if looked sorta fun.

I am tempted to try it out to be truthful, to change my skintone for a day and look all unlike me. The reason I posted this up even before the FOTD is to somewhat warn others (who votes Nay, sounds scary) that a Ganguro FOTD is coming up and it might not be a pretty sight!

Considering that the votes were that close, I decided to tone down everything as to not give anyone a heart attack, no brightly coloured hair/clothing/whatever, it's just the make up. A cross between a Banba and a Ganguro. And please do remember that this is actually for laughs and not serious...

Also do check this girl out, she's hilarious!

Any debates on why I should not do this look, feel free to post up, I might just scrap this whole thing off :D

Elianto Color Impression Mascara + Hello Kitty Pens, NOTD: Polka Dotta + etc

Sunday 8/9

Kept my promise to a friend to visit him at the place he worked in and off I went all blurry eyed one fine afternoon. As usual Gurney Plaza was jammed packed with people. I wanted to buy the same watermelon coin purse that I've been eyeing from God knows when and since there was a promotion I thought it was a good time to buy. I previously bought the exact same two items for someone special, I hoped that the person liked it >.<;;

I'm not sure why, but I really liked the watermelon on the coin purse. It's so cute! It's not practical since it can't store alot of coins but I wanted it anyway, along with the coin purse, I also got the handphone charm. Kinda got sick of people squeezing my strawberry charm and needed something to distract them. LOL!

While waiting for a table at Kim Gary, I went browsing around some shops when I saw the Hello Kitty's face on somehting that resembled a toothpaste. On a closer look, it turned out to be pens! Whee! I happily got two. Yes, I bought it because it was so darn cute but I can't vouch for how confortable it is to be held.

Elisa met up during dinner and together we headed over to Elianto just to browse around because we were waiting for another friend to join us. There, I saw it!

I didn't realize the words wasn't printed on the wand but on the piece of plastic seal. Was happily tearing it off before I realize!

Yes yes, although I repeatedly told myself that I will not buy any cosmetic related items, I did. I bought a mascara. I'm a bad girl, but it was half price off and my old one was drying up so I had no choice, atleast that's what I told myself.

I currently have two mascara that I alternate between, my favourite HG Kate separate volume mascara and the not so favourite, pretty much hated Rimmel Glam Eyes. The Kate separate volume mascara has recently been discontinued and replaced with new formula gel type whatever with a big ugly price tag and thus my search for a new HG mascara begins - again. Nothing good last forever is so freaking true.

Elianto Color Impression Mascara, 8g

I spotted the 50% sign first before the mascara. The sales lady told me that it was the latest mascara from Elianto is a 3 in 1 mascara. It promises volume, lenghtening and curling effect. All this for a mere RM19.50 after discount. The original price is RM39 if you're too lazy to do the maths (I know I am). I love the cute packaging and it currently comes in only one colour - black!

I fear that the love ends right there though.

"You promised me the moon and the sun, the birds and the sky
You promised me a wonderful life they were under lights
You promised me all diamonds and pearls that I never kept
You promised me where the roses are gold but soon you forgot"
-You promise me; Ingrid

I'm thinking that this is probably because it's still new and a little too 'wet', so give it a little while more and after the formula dries just a little this mascara might just be really nice to use. For now, I'm a little disappointed.

WARNING: SCARY LOOKING EYES BELOW

Bare bare bare, no foundation, nothing on, my face I mean
Anyway the above is probably the wrong way to curl your eyelashes but my curler is a total ^%$#@! and it took me 4 times to get anything curled and when it curled, it curled 90 degrees. ARGH!

One thing, E never stops reminding me, if you intend to wear colour contact which is not exactly natural looking, i.e, blue, green etc always always wear make up or it might be a little too 'shocking'.

I agree with her, Gray contacts fits me really nice and when I have it on, not drawing my eyeliner is fine, but although Blue contacts fits me just as well, because it's not exactly natural looking, I need to apply on some eye make up before heading out. So do keep the tips in mind girls.

No primer, no basecoat, just the mascara. 2 coats in total
Whoever that thinks being fair is cool, take a good look at my pigmentation! Bloody hell!!!

*Starts humming Ingrid's song* Promises are often made, but not always kept. Lesson number one is cosmetic buying. :P So ho hum, lets see, volume - a little below average, lengthening effect - average, curling effect - Curl? what curl?

Then again, this might be good for girls who already has lots of eyelashes. I cannot totally blame the products just as well since I do know that my eyelash is a pain in the behind to satisfy. It's too bloody fine so the day I find a mascara that could satisfy me, you'll know that is one hell of a magical mascara!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, this mascara is totally not waterproof :P

Why does this picture reminds me of Ju-on or some horror movie poster?
XD

Tuesday, 8/11

Its been some time since I did anything with my nails, been overly lazy and clueless on what to do with them lately but JeanJean's nails reminds me to do something about my own just as well. Searched YouTube for some kind of inspiration, hoping some magic light might shine down upon me and give me an idea. No light bulbs above head after a good half hour despite going through anything to do with leapord print, hime gyaru style with more sparkly stones that I have eyelashes, hello kitties and so forth, I finally saw one I quite liked. Polka dots!

The suspects
Left to right: Elianto's base (I think it's base, lost sticker) white, The Face Shop's BR801, Sasa NEPK004(?) and Etude House PK004

I didn't have any of the colours the girl used so I decided to do my own version of it. Paint on the base coat, I sincerely hope that whatever I painted on was indeed the base coat although, I have a sneaky suspicion it's actually the top coat. The Face Shop's BR801 came in next, the glittery pink from Sasa is optional, I didn't realize how glittery it was till I painted it on. Next up, Etude House's PK004 , paint it french manicure style and yay, you're almost done!

I have yet to apply the top coat on it

I used a toothpick to paint on the little white dots since I didn't have any fancy nail dotting equipment and it surprisingly worked very well. I stabbed the pointed part of the toothpick on my table to blunt it a little and made the little dots.

Hmm, I discovered something new today. I always knew that my room traps heat a little too easily and is easily the hottest room in the house but I didn't realize how hot.

Behold!

The Hello Kitty sweets I bought because I liked the tin box.

It has started melting after being left in my room for about a month or so

Left any longer and this happens!
Everything melted to oblivion, it was a good full tin of sweets

*Sigh*

Review: Maybelline's Angelfit

Flawless skin, every girl's dream. I don't have flawless skin but I have foundations to help, or in some cases 'somewhat' help.

I regret staying in Malaysia since a lot of good products never makes it here. I'm dying for the Loreal Voluminous or the Maybelline Colossal mascara as these got some of the best reviews I've seen but it never came and here we are stuck with lousy raccoon panda looking smearing mascaras.

It's been a while since I bought this foundation. I got it during the Metrojaya Warehouse sale sometime ago at a great price since I'm guessing it's nearing it's expiry date. But if you know me well enough, expiry date is just a suggestion. I don't recommend anyone following my footsteps but I'm just a el chepo, so don't mind me plus the foundation still looks okay and the oil + whatever has not separated yet so, I'm also guessing it should be fine. No breakouts yet. Kindly note the YET.

It took me so long to finally review this because although I bought it, it's not really something I needed. I'm ashamed to admit. I got lots of other foundations at hand not to mention I've already switched to BB creams but it was the price that attracted me. Seeing how it was sitting there looking all lonely and forlorn, I took pity and started using it.

For one, I'm also not a fan of any Maybelline products. Used it when I was 15 and hated it since. The foundations always turns out too oily for me, the mascara smudges on me and the nail colour turns my nails yellow and the lipstick never last. BAH! But all this complain is just me, Maybelline has indeed improved since then and there are some good products out.

I had no idea (I'm so blissfully ignorant sometimes) that Angelfit was released only in Asia so I'm guessing there's be some readers who will go, "Maybelline Angel..whaaa??" But anyway, during the warehouse sale, there was only two shades left, True Ivory and 'Oops, I forgot the name' I remember it starts with a B, but errr...quickly moving on, I chosed the above colour only because my then boyfriend helped me. There was no mirrors and the colour pumped out looking scary but thankfully it blends well into my skin.

Edit: BUFF, the other colour was Buff!!

Left to right: A little pump; blend blend blend and ta-daaaaah
I got scary looking veins, they are blue-purple colour and I can see them so well, UGH
They look like the Malaysian roads - confusing!

It's not too expensive for a foundation but to me, it's not the greatest but for like what RM36 (original price, I got mine at RM12?) it's okay.

In the smallest nutshell ever know; It's extremely easy to blend and coverage is sheer - medium. It has a semi matte finish on me. Lasting power is average. The texture is a little running (watery?) to me.

I need about two coats to even out my skintone and I still need a concealer to conceal everything as the foundation is too sheer to cover blemishes or dark eye circles.

This is after I piled on the blusher and highlighter

Elisa mentioned something I came to realize as well. It's because I am so pale that besides needing blusher, I am in need of highlighter to make my face radiant. Although the foundation mentions that it contains 'Revolutionary Pink Pearls technology' to highlights skin for a natural and luminous glow, it didn't give me that kind of effect at all. Perhaps to others that already has glowy skin this is fine for them but for someone who will look flat and resemble a corpse without highlighter or help from artificial glow (i.e: me) this is not enough. It's semi matte to me.

Item: AngelFit Liquid Foundation
Price: RM35.90 (intro price) Bought for RM12 (warehouse price)
Where: Watsons or any local drugstore
Description: Formulated with moisture and care ingredients – chamomile essence, Royal Jelly & Vitamin E, contains SPF 17/PA ++, fragrance- free, hypoallergenic, does not clog pores and is dermatologist-tested.

Pros : Cheap, easy to blend, coverage is build able
Cons: A little running, limited shades, staying power is below average to average.

Will I repurchase: No, for that price, I don't mind paying a little more for something better. But also because I like BB creams better. :P

NOTD

Elianto's latest nail colours, the big glitters are from Anna Sui ( I tested it out at the counter) Don't mind the nails, they've started to chip after a week since I didn't paint on any base or top coat. The colours this time is really nice, glittery and not too expensive at RM18 for two.

I've been too lazy to do my nails lately, it's really about time *smacks self*

ROTD: My name is...

So alone all the time and I
Lock myself away
Listen to me, I'm not
Although I'm dressed up, out and all with
Everything considered
They forget my name (ame, ame, ame)

They call me hell
They call me Stacy
They call me her
They call me Jane
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

- That's Not my name; The Ting Tings

Rant of the Day

My name is Ashley. It is spelled as A-S-H-L-E-Y.
Although the name Ashley is pretty common over at the other side of the world but for us Malaysians, I've come across too many (mostly Chinese educated, no offense to anyone, if you can spell and pronounce my name, then it ain't about you) people that have difficulty pronouncing my name let alone spelling it.

It annoys me no ends when they introduce themselves with some funky English name with 'special' spellings and here they are unable to twist their tongue to pronounce the 'H' in AsH.

I've recently sent an email to this lady working as a professional over here in M'sia and despite writing my name over and over again as ASHLEY, she insisted on spelling my name as ASLEY. Then again, this is not the first, even back at my dentist, they have always called me Asley. Yo, what gives? I decided long ago that I would love to name my son Dante, but when I think about how the people here can't even pronounce my name, I get a bloody big headache. I'll die if I ever heard people calling him, "Ah Dan" or "Dan-ti" or "Dant". It's just our M'sian culture to put an "Ah" in front of some people's name. I don't know why,

*phew* okay rant over.

Got this idea from Dana and I enjoyed reading hers so I decided to post up some weird random stuffs about myself (Her's wasn't weird, mine is). Not sure if anyone will be interested but I'm doing this for laughs.;

1. I am writing a book *snort*
2. I aspired to be a nun when I was younger
3. If I have a phobia it would be a phobia on mechanical failure
4. I hate insects!
5. I like dancing
6. I can't sew to save my life
7. I've accidentally exploded 2 eggs in the kitchen before and I thought it sounded like a mini bomb.
8. I love love nightmares
9. I'm paranoid about people looking at me
10. I feel like a garbage truck since eat just about anything.

Oh by the way, Dana is selling some super cute charms to hang on the handphone made with Swarovski crystals. They are beautifully handmade and quite affordable. Do take a look;
