Inspired look: Pixiwoo's 80's bright yellow with define crease; Pinky's surprise
Hmm, never knew my sister's that sneaky. Gave me a call in the middle of work and asked if I've bought any Chinese New Year clothes. After saying no, she made plans to go shopping together and all. When I reached home, found a little package from her. :D
Tadaaaa, a top from Forever 21 and a matching necklace that she searched high and low for. Aww.. Thank you Pinky Doodle Doo!!
Out of boredom, decided to check out if there was any interesting make up tutorials and there was one from Pixiwoo. A 80's bright yellow with define crease. Yellow? Yuck. Crease? None. Considering that I actually tried it shows how bored I was.
I've been having troubles sleeping lately due to my sinus problem. It's been a month and it has not gotten any better and I rely heavily on my nasal spray. Both nostrils gets blocked at night and there are nights when I wake up in the middle of the night because I couldn't breath.
It's starting to show under my eyes. I didn't realise how bad my dark circles till I saw the shots to the EOTD. I initially thought I accidentally smeared some brown shadow under my eyes but when I tried removing it with make up remover, it doesn't move.
But anyway, apply yellow. (D'oh) Then taking dark brownish colour, draw the crease. Make sure that when you're 'winging' it, the line is sharp. Mine isn't very sharp since I used the wrong brush but it looks better when it's sharp. Line under the eyes with the brown.
Yea, my explanation sucks. Good thing I don't write manuals on how to operate Tv or something. There's probably just one line in the entire paper.
I find that it's easier to 'wing' your eyes by lining under your eyes first then following the natural curve of your eyes, just bring it up. Becareful though, when you're drawing your crease line, don't just follow your natural crease since both of our eyes aren't the same shape. Line with black eyeliner.
Since the dark circle is a little disturbing, I put foundation under my eyes. I don't remember when was the last time I had them but now that they're here. Please go away!
It didn't photograph that well but after the look, I'm genuinely surprised how pretty it actually looks in real life. I definitely want to re-do this look, gather my guts and go out with this. With sharper and more define crease of course.
Ps.: I checked out the prices of some make up courses. Remind me to go rob the bank first if I ever want to learn. Sheesh! And their make up was only mediocre. I rather pay the money to Elyn and learn from her.

Reviews: Skin Food Red Bean BB Cream, Revlon Soft Nude lippie, Mustika Ratu Masker Bengkoang
The Skin Food BB cream was something I ended drooling for when I saw my sister buying this for her friend in Singapore. I didn't get it till a while later though. Had to get the approval of my "sponsor".
It's been about one weeks since I started using it and so far no breakouts, Thank God. The strange thing was when my sister was buying it in QueensBay Mall and I was with her, the coverage seems thicker but when I got mine in Gurney Plaza, I found out the coverage is sheer. My eyes are staring to play tricks on me!
Not sure is there's an eye problem or is it that the QBM tester was older and started to cake up. Eech!
I was told the Red Bean BB was more on hydrating meaning it's good for people with dry skin. I have oily but dehydrated skin, so what now? I'm confused. But "neediness" got the better of me and I ended up getting it. I reasoned that my BB cream was finishing - It was a lie!
The SF Red Bean BB cream is indeed a little tad oilier. My face is shine-y by 10 hours. Coverage is sheer but build-able. Unfortunately, I fear the more you apply, the oilier it might get. If you have good complexion, this is good for a little glow and coverage. If you need better coverage, you'll need your concealer.
I powder my face after using it and it's actually okay for me. I don't powder my face if I use my Etude House Precious Mineral though. It's a lot thicker and can be cakey if not careful.
I'll continue using it since my skin is getting better now and I'm starting to prefer sheerer coverage and letting my skin show more.
After thinking about it, I used the voucher to buy it anyway. *sigh* No more lipsticks for me till next year. Or lipglosses for that matter.
One of the best buys I had for 2010 was Mustika Ratu's Masker Bangkoang! Believe it or not. I initially bought this for RM3.50 and since they recently won some Best Items of 2010 the price has jumped to RM5!
Excuse me while I let out a string of curses! I should have stocked it! Bloody Hell!
Each packet is good for 3 uses!
I got to know about it when I saw my Indonesian colleague's face looking glowing and nice. She gave me a packet to try and I fell in love.
If you decide to try this and not like it, don't blame me. This is just my opinion and I never said I was always right :D
RM15
Last buy of 2010. Contact lenses. This was a total 'Want' and not 'Need'. Sigh. A guilt buy but I promised myself, this is going to last me as long as it possibly can. The i-Dreamy in Grey. It's really dark Grey and natural thanks to the outter black ring. Bought this cheap for RM30 + RM3.50 (shipping) and I got them here.
I don't demand a lot, I don't bargain BUT I do ask alot of questions and when I pay for next day delivery, I wanted it delivered out and reach my house in a maximum of 2 days. If I wanted to wait, I would have taken the cheaper postage. If there was a reason you cannot deliver. Tell me. Don't keep me waiting like an idiot.

What's in my make up bag?
But I will show it anyway! AHAHAHA! For some, you might have the idea that I cart my entire make up collection in my hand bag but that's really not the case. I have a snatch thief phobia and carry only what I can afford to lose. *touch wood* (All snatch thieves belong in hell and ought to die a terrible death slash end rant)
To be truthful, I don't touch up at all after I leave the house. I don't have the need to powder my nose and reline my eyeliner. I do apply gloss but that's about it. But in case that I need to, I have my Crabtree and Evelyn facial blotters than I bought a gazillion years ago that has never been used. My old trusty Benefit Boeing concealer, ZA powder, the Enamel Heavy Rotation lip gloss, Elianto balm, a Estee Lauder eyeliner and my Ettusais eyeliner for bottom eyelids. I noticed that Ettusais eyeliner last better for lower lids since it's drier and waterproof. It's not that nice to use for upper eyelids since it's drier and you need to tug and pull.
I have no luck with concealers. They all break up with me after a while. To date, I've broken a total of four concealers, three MUFE Camouflage Cream and one Benefit's. *sniff*
Not shown are the usual, sanitary pads and dental floss. :D
What is in your bag?

Nothing new here, still a scrooge and doing my own nails. Pinky Doodle Doo sponsored the rubber 3D bought in Queensbay Mall.
Phuket 2010
Was sick as hell when I arrived, had cough and very bad sinus problem. How bad? I didn't realize it was this bad. For everynight for the next 5 days, both nostrils were completely blocked. Go me!
On our first night there, we had our dinner in a restaurant called 'Raya' and it was delicious. We had crab noodles with plenty of crabs! YUM!
To be truthful, I couldn't really taste half the things thanks to my messed up taste buds but whatever I could taste was gooood. I forgotten the names of the two dishes below but the one on the left was yum yum while the fried 'Petai' (Parkia speciosa aka Stink Beans) that my manager loves so much was err.. only eaten by her and her alone.
Eating Petai is very good for health. Seriously.
Benefits of eating Petai
It helps with depression, anemia, PMS, blood pressue, brain power, constipation, heartburn, hangover, morning sickness, nerves, mosquito bite.
Looking at the list, it's like wow! This ought to be sold at all hospitals and pharmacies, right? There's just one tiny downfall to Petai. The smell is second to none. Your fart, breath, urine will have the wonderful aroma Eau de Petai for a while..
- wikipedia
I mean, I had blocked nose, even if I fart, I can't smell it but I swear it might just kill my manager off so I refrained from eating it... for her sake XD
Argh didn't mean to dedicate so much space to one dish but moving on, we had prawns! So anyway for the next five days, me and my manager were the perfect little girls (actually not so little but..) we slept early, woke up early and visited hospitals. Many many hospitals.
Not for MY sake anyway. We stopped at the Phuket International Hospital and they were selling small little teddy bears for kids living with HIV. For 100baht each, we could either donate the bears and hang them on the tree (both money and bear will be given to the patient) or take the bear home.
I decided to make the donation and hang the bear on the tree. I wasn't suppose to remove the clear plastic but I didn't know. I hope the kid who receives it won't mind a gray, dusty, dirty bear. I'm so sorry!!
I felt a little sad on returning, not because of anything but the hospitals there were fabulous looking compared to ours here. Sure we're cheaper and all but their hospitals are almost like big shopping malls. Theirs smells of coffee from the little cafes, our smells of disinfectants. Their share holders sure pumped in alot of monies. *twiddle thumbs*
