That reminded me that the lip primer that I need to be reviewed. I've taken it back from the office just for that reason.
There's a reason why I left it in the office - it sucks so bad. To refresh your memory, I bought it during my last trip to Thailand with the girls (Elisa & Kern). Boots was having a sale and we went crazy. I bought this for only less than RM14. I was attracted to:
a) Anti aging
b) SPF
c) It's a lip treatment!
d) Price, which on the second thought ain't that cheap afterall! Bloody Hell!
I can safely conclude after finishing a good 85% of it that I hate it and I would never repurchase even if the price goes down to RM2. So why was it that I manage to finish 85% of it if I hated it? Cause I could bear throwing away things that has not finish and also I wanted to make super duper double extra sure that it deserved to be loved or hated.
Why I hate it? It feels like Vaseline (which is fine since every lip balm I've came across feels like that anyway) but because it disappears off quickly and I felt as if my lips had felt drier after each use and more wrinkly. It didn't leave my lips feeling soft and supple at all! Anti aging my *toot*! It's probably pro-aging or something. LIES!
A few days ago, was surfing the web when I came across a site selling fake eyelashes and all. I ended ordering a Premier Natural eyelash that I really liked. It looks fantastic and since I needed a new pair, I bought it with the intention of wearing it to the office. At the price of RM8, I figured it's cheaper than me heading to Sasa and getting one. Oh boy, when will I ever learn?
The seller was pretty nice so I'm not here to bash her or anything, it's just that I obviously did not chose the correct lashes. It states Super natural! in bold too, and being a sucker, bought it hook, line and sinker.
Why? Cause it looks like this on me..
Now, don't start on the, 'Oh it's probably because you don't know how to put on falsies'. It seriously look like that no matter how I adjust them. I contemplate trimming the lashes shorter but knowing me, I'll probably screw it up some where.
I think I'll send up scaring my colleagues in the office if they ever saw me wearing this so despite spending the ka-ching, I'm right back in square one.
I didn't glue, I merely put them on for the shot. It says it's self-adhesive. LIES! :P
Hmmmm, my eyebrow looks weird. Must be the angle, It look as if it doesn't have a tail. LOL!
Since JH's parents has gone on a long vacation, me and JH went to the Ol'e A Spanish Extravaganza held at the E&O Hotel on the 27th May in their place. The tickets were for charity and overall it was definitely an interesting night alright.
Since it was a formal dinner and all, I redid my nails the night before in a hurry since I didn't wanted weird blue tip french nails that was chipping. This NOTD took me the longest at 30 freaking minutes, I was about to doze off at the keyboard waiting for the damn thing to dry.
I wanted it to look somewhat lacy but oh well, *shakes head* remind me to use acrylic paint the next time instead. It was a major *toot* to draw on my right hand as well.
The dinner was great, the food were excellent since they got a chef in all the way from Spain. Free flow of champagne, wine and so forth. That's where my trouble started. I was having a slight migraine before dinner and I happily and most greedily gulped down 3 glasses of champagne before dinner even started on an empty stomach. *sigh*
Sad to say, I was sick the entire night and I puked out the entire content of my RM300 dinner. *sniff* How embarrassing. There's only 2 things I'm grateful for now.
1) Jiun will not tell his mom (she bought the tickets for us) *glares at a "certain someone"*
2) And that the tickets cost RM300 per person and not RM500 because in the end, everything ended up in the toilet bowl.
I'm such an embarrassment.
